Thank you for a truly memorable evening. The group were great and I spoke to them them requesting the song “ the man I love” .Sarah-Jane boned up on it at the break and it meant a lot to me.

Thank you for singing at our Ball on Saturday night! It was a pleasure to meet you and great to hear you sing so brilliantly to our (noisy!) audience. I hope you enjoyed the experience as much as they did, we had so many nice comments and compliments on the night and since then.

It was a truly amazing experience to have you sing for us this afternoon. I really can’t thank you enough. You are such a delight, both as a singer and a person.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. It was perfect. Everyone has been talking about it. Honestly, it was so hot but was perfect because it turned the room into a ‘Speakeasy’. It was brilliant and people were chatting away and just having the best time. Apart from my little nieces who loved dancing with you all. It really was the best day and I hope you all got back safely and had a great time. Thank you.

I did not get time to say thank nor good bye yesterday bit one of those days, the event was excellent and thank you so much for doing your bit to make the event special, we had some fab feedback so again thank you, there may well be other and more events in the future so if ok I or my team may reach out to you again.

We just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you so much for playing at our celebration last week - we thought you and the band were fantastic and loved dancing to your dulcet tones. Thank you for making our wedding celebration that extra bit special (it also made Sophie and James' entire evening and they've talked of nothing else since!)

The music was marvellous, just my kind of evocative tunes (memories of dancing round the kitchen with Grandpa). Which I think summarises how lovely everyone found the music! Thank you very much for coming. You did a brilliant job.

We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. We just wanted to say a quick thank you before we run off on our honeymoon. You made our day so super special! Everyone was saying how amazing the music was & your voice is incredible. You sang our first dance song perfectly (I couldn’t help but sing along haha). Thank you again so much, we are so glad you were a part of our big day. Much love xxx

Every letter I have received thanking me for my party mentions the music - a talented and versatile band creating just the right sound for the occasion. Sarah-Jane is quite delightful to work with and her attention to detail is perfect.

We booked Melisma Jazz at quite short notice for a garden party to celebrate our 5th Anniversary as a business. Sarah-Jane Morris was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was flexible in piecing together a quartet that suited our needs, and the atmosphere created by Sarah-Jane and her fellow musicians on the day was superb. Thank you so much Sarah-Jane for all that you did to make our event a special one for us, and we hope to have the pleasure of working with you again at some stage.

I liked the fact that when booking it was 'relaxed' in that it was not too rigid with the timing. Unfortunate that Hannah was sick but this made no difference to my party as Sarah -Jane stepped in. Again flexibility (on both sides) resulted in a great performance - we received lots of compliments only downside was that we were unable to listen as much as we would have liked to .... There's always a next time. .....
We and especially our guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance - very happy to recommend .

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to tell you how fantastic you were on Friday for our Christmas Party.

I have had so many people come up to me and compliment the music and how great the jazz trio were. It really set the scene of the evening and sounded beautiful. I was so happy with it all as were all the party attendees. I can’t praise you enough.

I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Melisma performing at our retirement party.

Everything about Melisma Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutley fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly!

I cannot thank Melisma Jazz enough for making our event such a wounderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on!
