The Mellowtone Jazz Trio came to play for us at a celebration for the Charity's 40th anniversary. It was a very hot day for a garden party, but that didn't stop Chris and the group from playing! We had so many compliments on the music - it was just right for creating a special but relaxed atmosphere. It was a pleasure making arrangements for the day with Chris and the group were so friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!

Have been listening to Chris play in town and thought, perfect for our garden party! And we were not disappointed! This Jazz Trio created the perfect atmosphere for our guests to mingle and enjoy a relaxed sunny evening. They accompanied two tributes to the hosts spontaneously and with such professionalism, we can't thank them enough for making the whole event a success. Top musicians with fantastic repertoire. Strongly recommend!

I wanted a live band to be playing as guests arrived at my daughters wedding reception. A band that could really set the scene and make people feel welcome, relaxed and valued.
Boy did these guys deliver.
Pitch and note perfect and could take it up a level when required. (They understand playing to a live audience)

Mellowtone were absolutely brilliant for our 40th birthday celebration. Chris and the rest of the band were courteous and efficient in setting up/taking away the instruments, and communciation in the run-up to the event was great. The music was of an exceptionally high standard, with a really diverse set list. They made the night very special. They played a range of jazz standards, with a great combination of paces (including plenty of tunes to dance to). Chris has a lovely singing voice and the bands' musicality shines through. I cannot recommend Mellowtone highly enough.

Great jazz trio! Chris was very quick to respond via email and very accommodating, even when we had to change the date of our event at the last minute. Punctual and very friendly, everyone loved their band at the event. I would definitely book them again in the future.

Mellowtone jazz were fantastic! We hired them to play at our corporate event. Chris and the team were very accommodating of our needs - nothing was too much trouble. The jazz trio played a great repertoire of all the jazz classics and they made our event that extra bit special! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we would certainly use them again for another event in the future.

Mellowtone Jazz played at my 60th birthday Sunday lunch at Poets House hotel in Ely yesterday . I can not recommend them highly enough. They were professional and helpful in all my dealings with them . They were flexible , accommodating , and most importantly - their music was great ! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and it really made the party . Thankyou , Mike and co , you made all the difference to our event !

We just had the Mellowtone Jazz trio play at my husband's 80th birthday BBQ. It was a lovely sunny afternoon, we had great food and wine all topped off with perfect music. The trio just add such a wonderful ambience to an event. As loud or as quiet as you like.......so so easy going. I would definitely recommend these guys.

I booked Mellowtone Jazz for my Mums 90th Birthday garden party. I cannot commend the band enough. I chose to have the trio and all 3 band members were so talented, friendly and accommodating. We we so pleased with the fabulous music they played. My Mum had the most wonderful time and she was so overwhelmed with it all. We had so much good feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music. I would not hesitate to book Mellowtone Jazz again for our next party.

Dad is a big Jazz fan and we hoped that the Guys would complement the meal and small gathering we had arranged.
To say they did would be an understatement. The musical choice and the musicianship was of the highest order.
I would certainly book them again and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else.

The Mellowtones played for us at an evening reception for our son's Bar Mitzvah, and they were outstanding. We were aiming for a relaxed chilled out atmosphere in a marquee in our back garden, and their music provided the perfect backdrop. We had masses of compliments from family and friends, and we would not hesitate to recommend them. The process of inquiring and booking them was also simple and a pleasure. The Mellowtones played recently at my mother's birthday party and brought the whole occasion to life. Their wonderful smooth sound swirled through the room for 2 hours bringing excitement and joy. They are a great team and I absolutely recommend them.

Chris and his five piece band played Jazz for our wedding back in August 2013. Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal when planning the day - and they were brilliant on the day! The music was excellent, with many of our guests commenting on how much they enjoyed it - and they even wore dinner suits so looked the part! I thoroughly recommend them for any party or function.

Chris Flegg and his group, Mellowtone Jazz, played at both my 65th and 75th birthday parties to my and everybody else's total enjoyment. I would thoroughly recommend them. If you want people on the floor dancing, this is the group!! Their library is very wide, and they seem to be able to accommodate most requests.
