The band were excellent.

The booking process was incredibly easy and smooth - they let us have input on the set list too which was much appreciated.

On the night they were prompt on arrival and set up - worked with our other entertainment too to make the best experience for our guests, Would happily recommend them!

What can I say, the perfect band for our Art Deco wedding! They have been so professional from day one through the first days of communication and they even played our first Dance song that we requested, to have a beauty and the beast live performance was amazing and they played it perfectly, we honestly would recommend them too anyone and they were worth every penny !

Might As Well Be Swing were perfect for our 40’s/50’s tea dance with their retro clothes and beautiful instruments. They arrived in good time and set up quickly and smoothly. They listened to our needs providing just the right music for our general over 60 audience who were soon up on the dance floor remembering all the old moves. A fantastic night that will be remembered in our village for many years.

We had a trio for our wedding reception and the full band for the evening reception. Both were fantastic and gave a really classy performance. The band played the song for our first dance too. The band members were all lovely. Would highly recommend.

We contacted Chris & although quite close to the date he organised a quartet (including singer). We asked them to play during the meal & then again later. As the price they charge is definitely at the lower end we honestly did’t know what to expect. However they were nothing but professional & the music was great and singing beautiful.
We were so happy we chose them & would recommend them for any function. They even dressed in black suits & bow ties! We had so many compliments from our 200 guests!

From the minute we sent an enquiry Chris listened to everything we wanted for our day - he was professional and also very accommodating. The band played both at our drinks reception and evening venue. They were able to adapt their music to the different atmospheres throughout the day. Lovely, instrumental music for the drinks reception to fun music covering modern songs to get everyone dancing for the evening do! They were able to play some songs we requested which was a great touch. The dance floor was never empty whilst they were playing and our guests haven't stopped commenting on how fantastic they were!

Might As Well Be Swing played at our wedding this Summer and are incredibly talented musicians. Booking them was straight forward with excellent communication throughout. We were able to choose the set list to suit or taste and event. On the night they really impressed our guests and got people up and dancing. We highly recommend them!

You played a great variety of tunes with festive songs thrown in to really lift the spirit.
A lovely atmosphere created by such a professional and laid back ensemble. Was great for background music but plenty of opportunity to dance too.

Cannot praise MAWBS enough! They were truly brilliant, providing a very sophisticated and slick start to our school ball - the music was perfect whilst all our guests had pre dinner drinks and then again throughout the meal. Just the perfect level for people to relax and enjoy. We would highly recommend the band for all events - they arrived in plenty of time and were professional throughout. Great communication prior to the event in the planning stages. Wishing them all the best of luck for the future and hope to hear them again!

Thank you so much for playing for Manchester Swing Dance Society on Friday, you were all absolutely amazing and easily one of the best swing bands we have ever danced to! The highlight was being able to do the shim sham to you guys playing t'aint what you do (and well done on doing that so last minute) and everyone kept commenting on what a beautiful voice Rebecca has. I will be recommending you to EVERYONE!
