We couldn’t recommend Motion Picture highly enough. From start to finish, they were brilliant—professional, organised, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process.

Communication in the lead up to the wedding was clear and straightforward, which made everything so easy and stress-free. On the day itself, they were seamless to work with and had everything under control, including sorting our DJ playlists between sets and afterwards, which really helped keep the energy going right through to the end of the night.

Most importantly, they absolutely smashed the performance. They put on an incredible show and had the dance floor packed all evening. Their setlist was fantastic, with something for everyone and a great mix of tunes that worked across all ages—from older family members to our younger friends.

A personal highlight was their performance of James – Sit Down, which caused complete crowd madness and was one of the standout moments of the night!

If you’re looking for a wedding band that are talented, reliable, and know exactly how to get a party going, Motion Picture are the perfect choice. We’re so glad we chose them.

Absolutely unreal band. We enquired 4 months ago and from day 1 the communication has been 10/10. Never anything to worry about, really great service, always replying to emails within 24 hours.
We had about 70 guests for my 40th and all people are now saying is… ‘WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS BAND!!!!?!’

Amazing sound. Amazing songs. Genuinely cannot praise this band enough and we will 100% be contacting them again.

The band were brilliant. The guys in the band were prompt to set up, friendly , professional and kept us informed during each stage of the booking process. The music was great, they sounded great and the choice of songs were perfect for what we wanted. The guests enjoyed it and everyone was kept entertained all night. The repertoire was fabulous I would definitely recommend.

You guys were hands down one of the best band we've seen and we can't thank you enough for being part of our big day. You really brought the party to life and it was amazing to see all our friends and family dancing the night away. Our muso friends were particularly impressed by how good you guys were live! We had the most incredible evening and so much of that was down to these guys. Every one of our guests had a blast and have been asking how to book them. Flawless from start to finish – slick, professional, and clearly just love what they do. They had such great energy on stage and their set list was nonstop bangers. Motion picture were incredible! So professional, I didn’t even notice them set up, it was so seamless. They even coordinated learning our first dance song with my sister in law as the vocalist for that song and it was magical! They really set the vibe and we got so many compliments on how great they were. I am a professional musical theatre performer, my husband is an actor and my brother works in the music industry so you can imagine there were lots of musicians etc and they were all blown away and the vibe was amazing. Would deffo recommend, they are professional talented and very slick at what they do.

The band played at my daughter’s wedding last weekend. They were fantastic, musically brilliant and great lads. They were very reliable and could not have been more helpful. Many guests commented on how good they were.

There repertoire was vast and they even learned a new song on our request.

They rocked it! I would recommend to everyone.

The band were absolutely incredible, as good and tight as they sound in their videos. Having live music was important to us and we got so many comments about how unbelievable they were. They were very accommodating too and learnt My Girl for our first dance and they even let my old band jump on for a song to surprise my wife. Easily the best wedding/event band I've seen.

Played our wedding in April 2023 and were absolutely amazing. Nobody left the dance floor, they were brilliant!

We booked these for our wedding and they were absolutely brilliant! The acoustic set for the ceremony was everything we could have wanted it to be. The evening sets got great reviews from our guests, with multiple guests asking who they were, where we got them from and how they can book them. Throughout the whole process they have been really helpful and we were really happy with the first dance song that they learned for us. Can't thank them enough for making our day even better than we imagined it would be.

Motion Picture were absolutely amazing, the whole act was flawless! The music was tight, singing was fantastic and they set up so quickly and efficiently. They came to our wedding with a large number of musicians in attendance and everyone was so impressed we are still having people tell us now how great they were. Wow!! This band are amazing. Total professionals in every way and really entertaining with a fantastic repertoire of songs from all decades. They were excellent in playing our first dance song and really responsive to any questions by email. Motion Picture were absolutely amazing. From the minute they sang their first note, right up until the last song, the dance floor was filled. The guests at the wedding couldn't get enough. We are still getting compliments the day after from our guests about how good the band were, and we can only take credit for booking. I can't recommend them enough. The energy they brought to the wedding was insanely good and I would book them in a heart beat again.

We hired Motion Picture for our wedding at Portmeirion and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

When selecting a band, we searched through lots of bands online and watched many video show reels, but Motion Picture stood out from the start as our first choice. They're clearly very talented and professional while also bringing a really fun and relaxed vibe. The band are really polished and tight, and the front man has a great vocal range, which allows the band to cover a truly wide range of styles and songs.

The dance floor was full most of the night, and we had so many of our guests complimenting the band and asking for their details. They also played music from our Spotify playlist before/between/after each of the band sets , to keep the party going through to midnight. They're also a really nice bunch of lads and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them, or see them again.

I cannot recommend this band highly enough. Have no hesitation in booking them. They are SO good. High energy, fun and talented. Each song was a dance floor filler. Our guests were loving it so much they were dancing through the sound check!

People were asking for their name to book them for their own events which is the best review you can get.

On the logistics side of things they are professional, good communicators and flexible to your needs - even when we didn’t email them for a month because we’d muddled up the email addresses.

Basically 100% book them!

So glad we booked Motion Picture for our wedding. The whole process from booking to the performance was excellent and communication with Dan the singer was a pleasure. They really are talented musicians with a great selection of songs - they certainly filled the dance floor! We had lots of positive comments from guests. I supplied a mobile disco at a 40th Birthday Party today. Motion Picture did a 5pm - 7pm set and I provided music before and after. I can honestly say that they were one of the best bands
I've seen live. Instrumentally and vocaly they were AMAZING. They didn't miss a note and the vocal range of the lead singer was unbelievably good. Keeping in mind this was a performance where they had set up in someone's house, and had speakers positioned in the garden. So to produce live music in that situation to that higher quality again shows their professionalism and talent. In a theatre or similar setting they must be UNBELIEVABLE. Really can't say enough good things, personally loved the performance and was extremely lucky to see them!

The boys were amazing!! We couldn’t have dreamed of a better band, all our guests loved them! They made are day very special and I would highly recommend!!!

Superb. Motion Picture provided a thumping set full of party classics that my daughter and all of her friends absolutely loved. Extremely professional and lovely bunch of lads, will definitely be booking them again next time we have a party.

Motion Picture were outstanding at our wedding, they arrived on time and dealt with all the set up so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. They learned our first dance song for us and it was perfect. Both live sets were so good and had everybody dancing. They provided a great playlist between sets and after the last set. Even the venue commented on how full the dance floor was compared to other weddings. Loved them, would definitely recommend!

Pop Club/Motion Picture were simply Fantastic.
We wanted a focussed 80s set which did not disappoint plus they learnt a Duran Duran song to include in their repertoire for the evening. Everybody who attended went out of their way to tell me how good the band were. On top of this, they are a bunch of nice lads who were happy to chat before and after their set. I would recommend them 100%. I never expected to get this level of quality and professionalism for the price.

Motion Picture were amazing! They played such a good mix of songs that kept everyone dancing all night. They kept in regular contact with us on the lead up to the event and were even happy to throw in a few songs that I requested. They even allowed us to pick music we wanted to be included in the DJ sets. They were extremely polite, friendly and professional the whole night. I would highly recommend the band to anyone!

Absolutely brilliant band, everyone loved them at the wedding and we saw them playing in Warrington also. You won't be disappointed. Gets the crowd dancing and singing away and even learnt new songs for our night. Not forgetting they play Come and get your love from one of our fav films Guardians of the galaxy which we also danced down the Isle to.

Blown away! We’re well into our music and have been watching live bands for years. This act is a different class and play songs you just don’t expect to hear live (Whitney Houston, ABBA). I love all things 80’s so was hooked from the start but they really do have something for everyone. Get this band booked!

These guys are the real deal, they made our night. All my favourite tunes, they were so good! Never heard a band play Prince so well. I loved the dancing and the energy they had on stage and the way they got the audience involved. We wanted a band with a classy look to fit the theme of the night, they looked amazing really added to the vibe.

Simply fantastic! They had everyone up and dancing from the start and I lost count of the amount of comments we had from guests. They played a perfect mix of current and past hits and the DJ set was a perfect addition. A joy to work with, can’t recommend them enough. Thanks lads!
