In a lifetime of music there's been so many wonderful places and experiences but, at the time of writing this, the two that I suppose stick out the most are Glastonbury Festival UK and The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville.

That's an impossible one to answer !!............Far too many !!

I started my love affair with music at the age of 4, sharing my bed every night with a small blue and white plastic guitar - wherever I went so did the guitar, and not much has changed since! At the age of 13 I did my first studio session, playing lead guitar for established electric Folk band, ‘Charlie Crow’, in my home town of Sheffield. I have played as a session musician, toured both in the UK and abroad , appeared on radio, T.V, and several albums and singles. I've supported SAM BROWN ( Pink Floyd/Jules Holland), SONJA KRISTINA ( Curved Air), WILLY PORTER, KING KURT, EZIO as well as playing for such bands as LISTEN, INDIGO LISTEN, THE RAVEN CLUB, INVISIBLE VOICE, TWO FAR GONE, THE SULTANS, PASSIONFISH , J.J.KANE, SACRED EARTH, QUIETMAN PRESENTS, MAGPIE22............The list goes on......

To a listening crowd of happy smiling faces. If my music ' touches' people I've done my job & I'm happy

I would prefer to arrive a couple of hours prior to the performance to have enough time to say "hi" , acquaint myself with the venue & have a decent soundcheck. I usually perform 2+45min sets.

I am more than happy to play outside. Preferably in a covered, flat area with adequate , and safe, power supply.

I play original material with a few ' covers' performed in my style

Now look, getting to witness a musician like Neil playing his first solo show in this format, bare foot, and to a crowd at a packed out pub, is one thing... the crowd (including us) were absolutely blown away, elevated, and swept off to space, throughout Neil's set. This has become a real highlight for us as a band, something we didn't stop talking about the whole way home on Sunday... but then we had to follow this act with our own headline set!
Neil was absolutely incredible, sharing a stage with such talent was an honour
