We honestly cannot recommend Ollie enough!

We actually found Ollie completely last minute. Some of our family were at a wedding just two weeks before ours where Ollie was performing, and pretty much the minute he started singing, we were being sent videos and told, “You HAVE to book him for your wedding!” 😂

Originally, we were just planning on using our phones for the ceremony music, but after hearing him we decided to book him for both our ceremony and drinks reception, and I am SO glad we did. It was genuinely one of the best last-minute decisions we made for our wedding.

From the moment we contacted him, Ollie was so friendly and incredibly easy to communicate with. He was always really quick to respond to emails and even helped us work out the timings for our ceremony entrance, including when the bridesmaids should start walking and when I should make my entrance. It was one less thing for us to worry about and made everything feel so much more organised.

Having our ceremony songs performed live made the whole thing feel so much more special and personal, and then he was absolutely amazing during the drinks reception. I genuinely didn’t want to leave to go and have our photos taken because I wanted to stay and listen to him! 😂

We had so many compliments from our guests throughout the day. People were asking us about him and telling us how amazing he was, which just confirmed that we’d made the right decision.

If you’re considering having live music for your ceremony as well as your drinks reception, DO IT. It completely changed the atmosphere and made those parts of our day even more memorable.

It’s crazy to think that two weeks before our wedding we weren’t even planning on having a live singer, and now we can’t imagine our day without him.

After seeing Ollie play at various venues we were eager to book him for my husbands 60th. Ollie was fantastic, all our guests agreed, he is an amazing musician. Much fun singing and dancing was had by all.

We saw Ollie perform in Winchester for the first time a month ago and loved it, great songs, great voice and a memorable performance. A month later Ollie stepped in at the last moment to perform at our wedding and did an incredible job! Everyone loved the performance and he got the night started in the best way.

We feel so lucky to have found Ollie Wade, when he was playing a session at my wife’s workplace. She fell in love with his voice and performance style instantly, and we knew that we had to book him for our wedding.

Ollie did everything that we could have wanted, touching base with us a few weeks before the event to double check our song choices, turning up to the event nice and early to get setup and playing the most incredible set list, tailored to our needs and our guests energy levels.

Ollie played at the reception of our wedding and he nailed it. We wanted upbeat energy and not just background music, we’d chatted about the vibe (00s, 90s bangers but not cheese) and he smashed it. We knew his playlist from seeing him many times at Pews in Guildford (and befriending him) and we knew it was great without our input. He threw in a couple of requests. We would absolutely recommend him for any event. 10/10!

Having previously seen Ollie live at a couple pubs, we arranged for him to play several sets of songs at our joint birthday party and it was one of the best decisions we made! He had a wide variety of songs from all genres and decades that catered to a large crowd of 150 people. He sent us lists prior to the event of his repertoire and was even happy to take suggestions beyond this list, making it even more special. Since the party, we have had amazing reviews from attending guests and we praise his flexibility on the evening for slight changes in set times throughout the night.

I first saw Ollie play at a favourite wine bar in London and took his details as I thought he was brilliant. Can’t recommend him highly enough. Everyone at the party kept asking how we had found him. Amazing voice and super easy to work with. Learned some American songs especially for us, don’t hesitate if you want live music for your event!

Ollie was very professional right from the start and answered all my emails promptly. On the day he arrived on time, played three amazing sets and everyone commented on how good the music sounded. We highly recommend Ollie and would hire him again.

His comms before hand, the fact we could see his repertoire and agree the set before he arrived… he even learnt some pretty obscure songs that he didn’t previously know so that he could play them for us at the party. He has this amazing way of creating an insanely good party vibe but without being too overpowering. He’s dynamic and toned it up and down as the party ebbed and flowed and responded so well to what the guests wanted. We hired Ollie to perform 3 sets at my Son’s 21st birthday celebration at our local pub last Saturday afternoon. Ollie built an amazing set list and had even learnt and performed some new songs that my son had requested. There are no words that would actually justify how amazing Ollie was - he was incredible at our wedding, everyone kept asking us about Ollie and how we found him. We are so grateful that he learnt an acoustic version of our aisle song - ‘Love on Top’, which was just perfect. We also asked Ollie to play his own songs and they were even better live. Simply put Ollie was amazing, He and i discussed around 7 songs that he could and would be happy to cover during the ceremony, isle walk, singing of the registrar and as we leave as man and wife for the first time. In fact i think on the day Ollie added a couple of extra's due to the time running over so very thankful for that.

For me (the Groom) it was pretty nervy but a very special moment standing in front of 70+ family and friends awaiting my wife to be coming down the aisle, whilst everyone is watching and its in those moments where Ollie's music allows me to play it back in my head, remembering the experience and the moments leading up to it whenever i hear the songs and/or reminisce the time with family and friends.

Despite not knowing the song I requested he play, Ollie took the time to learn it especially and helped the plan come together perfectly. We will always remember our special day and much of that is thanks to the part Ollie played in it!

Ollie was AMAZING. I wanted him to play a pretty obscure song as I proposed to my girlfriend and he learned the song in two days and played it perfectly. Ollie’s voice is so good. On top of that, he’s just a wonderful person so it was great to have him be a part of our proposal. Highly recommend for any event!

Ollie was Great, great fella, was able to take song requests in advance. Got my party singing and dancing. Only one problem I should have booked him for longer than 2 x 45 min sessions he was brilliant. Everyone was asking how I got to know about Ollie he was so good. We had Ollie play at our wedding which was an intimate pub wedding so wanted something a bit more laid back.

Ollie was amazing from the moment we first got in touch with him. He was really flexible and friendly to deal with, adapted the play list to suit us and even learnt a new track.
On the evening he sounded amazing, we’ve had so many compliments since and one of our guests is hoping to book him for her event too.
