They are flexible and adaptable and really go the extra mile to make sure the audience has a great time. We love working with them and will definitely book them again for our events.

We had Overdrive for our wedding in June 2026. They were absolutely brilliant, they had lots of people on the dance floor, interacting with everyone dancing, the mix of music was fantastic and they really listened to our genre preferences. When we started planning our wedding we knew we didn’t want a typical rock/pop band and began our search for a fun, modern, high energy band and luckily found Overdrive. Overdrive performed at my 40th party. Maisie was singing and they were brilliant. Everyone was on the dance floor and I had lots of compliments on Maisie’s voice, the videos I received before did not do the performance justice! Wish we could do it all again next weekend!

In the build up to the wedding Overdrive was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. After a couple of exchanges of messages, Nora recommended that we saw them at one of their residency evenings in Henley which was so exciting. Nora made such an effort to make us feel welcome and get to know us personally! Overdrive were so supportive, offering us great advice on what the best flow for the day would be, really demonstrating their knowledge and expertise. On the day we didn't have to worry about any logistics and they were set up and ready to go as soon as we got to the reception venue.

Overdrive started off with their Ibiza Chills set for the drinks reception, providing the perfect background music to a glass of fizz and some canapes. The evening followed with their 4-piece band, setting off the dance floor with a bang after the first dance! The performance was incredible and they had everyone on the dancefloor for every second possible. They brought such great energy and it was so nice to have them getting involved with the guests. All of our guests have been so complimentary of Overdrive, saying what a fantastic vibe they brought to the night, how incredible the music was, and how much fun they had. Moreover, our photographer was in absolute awe of their tunes and proceeded to stay for the rest of their set! It was so fantastic seeing how our vendors worked together with such professionalism to promote each others businesses, all whilst bringing together such a beautiful day for us.

If you're planning an event then we cannot recommend them enough, and we are already looking for any excuse to have another party so we can book them again!!

Overdrive performed at our wedding after they performed at a work summer event I attended. Once I saw them at the work event I knew they would be perfect for the wedding!

They played and sang tune after tune and you could not get the guests (and ourselves) off the dancefloor! I had several guests say how incredible the band were and some asking for details on where to hire them in the future!

They were very accommodating in getting the setup done early in the day before guests arrived which we really appreciated.

The evening entertainment for our wedding was the hardest thing to find and something we wanted to get just right! After a lot of searching, we found JBMAC and knew instantly that they had the vibe we were looking for.

Hannah is an amazing singer and our guests were in awe and Josh was amazing on the decks! The energy was immaculate from start to finish and ended with a D&B hour bang with all our guests on the dancefloor. Top tier!! Hannah sung our first dance & it was perfect!

Overdrive travelled to France to play at our wedding and we can’t recommend them enough! We loved them and so did our guests (we got lots of rave reviews). They really brought the fun and Nora’s vocals were insane. Lots of people were dancing which was exactly what we wanted. From booking to the wedding itself they were really friendly and responsive. On the day there was a hiccup with the sound equipment (not their fault) but they were super professional and didn’t let it affect the night or their performance at all. Thank you so much!

The fabulous JBMac performed at my joint 50th birthday party and were AMAZING! So good to have a proper dance like we used to. The combination of live music and DJ mix was perfect. So happy we booked them 🤩.

After randomly finding a video online last year whilst looking for ideas for my 50th, I knew I had to book them. Nothing but professional, very responsive and their performance on the night was bloody. I wanted it a night to remember and confirm it is. I am now trying to find an excuse to book them again.

We had JBMAC perform at our wedding on Saturday and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! Guests were dancing all night long at the wedding and the songs were spot on. Absolutely amazing, I don’t know what else to say other than book overdrive for your wedding. They were absolutely incredible, we booked them really last minute but they were so quick and easy to work with, they are so talented and without a doubt were the best part about our wedding. I would really recommend JBMAC as a wedding band. My husband and I met them at a family members’ wedding last summer and were absolutely blown away by them - we had initially decided not to have a wedding band but seeing JBMAC perform was enough to change our minds.

Nora and the gang kept the dance floor lively all night, which was something I was worried about. Nora’s vocals are amazing, and the saxophonist really added something special. We had the absolute pleasure of having Overdrive perform at our wedding in August, and they were incredible! From the very beginning, they were so accommodating. We requested a shorter version of our first dance song, and they edited it perfectly to fit what we wanted. They also took the time to incorporate our song suggestions and even played some of our guests’ more obscure requests, everyone’s music tastes were accounted for.

Nora’s vocals were incredible, the saxophonist made everything feel even more lively and unique and Josh’s DJing later into the evening was spot on. The energy they brought to the night was contagious. They had everyone of all ages on the dance floor.

JBMAC are the perfect party booking!

We booked JBMAC to play at our works event which was a river cruise along the Thames from Henley. We asked for chilled Ibiza vibes and we weren't disappointed. Josh and Nora crafted the perfect set and were able to react to the crowd as the event went on. Further proof that JBMAC were smashing it, was the reaction from everyone else on the river, and the bank. They were all joining in as we sailed past!

A polished and professional act, they absolutely nailed it; all the way from our initial enquiry until the end of the performance. We will definitely look to book again. Our only regret is that we didn't book for longer.

We had JBMAC for my 40th Garden party! It was honestly EPIC! Josh and Nora are so professional and an absolute dream to work with. We booked them for our wedding and their responses were so quick and helpful and we met halfway at a pub for a drink and meeting regarding what we were looking for, different options and just to get to know each-other better. They are super genuine, friendly and professional and give you all the information and options to help tailor to your event/audience. They gave us our set tracks for the wedding a month or so before so we could listen and change any songs and the music variety they provide is excellent. They arrived at the venue no problems and on time, set up was done without any issues and their music was insanely good. We went with the 3-Piece and we got so many compliments on the music choice, the sax and Nora’s singing. It took a few minutes for guests to realise she was live singing as she was so good. They definitely brought the dance vibes. They also did shout outs to our children on the dance floor which was so lovely and come onto the dance floor at different points. JBMAC played for our wedding on the 2nd May 24 and they were unbelievable!

Leading up to our special day we had loads of contact, picking out the best set list and playlist for the DJ in between the live music sets. They even learned our first dance song to play live which was not the usual type of music they do and they played it fantastically!

We went with the 4 piece band and were quite concerned as our venue had a noise limiter however they managed it perfectly and didn't set it off once!

Throughout their performance they got the crowd up and dancing and every one of our guests commented on how great they were!

They will work with you. They will liaise with you and they will show you talent, musical mixology and DJ styling, producing floorfiller after floorfiller. The vocals are second to none from Nora, the energy she evokes, the same. Daisy, the saxophonist, is totally brilliant.

My 50th party guests were incredibly complimentary about their energy, their drive and willingness to give you the time of your life. I was overwhelmed.

JBMAC provided amazing music for my garden party. Nora can sing pretty much anything and has an outstanding voice. Josh was mesmerising on the drums and had everyone moving to the beat! In fact everyone was dancing and had a fabulous time - even the neighbours wanted more! Would thoroughly recommend them for any event as they take time to learn about your likes and customise the set in line with the event and your needs.

I have seen this band twice. First time was at Rock Bottom in Marlow Bottom and the other was last week for the Carribean Day at Marlow Legion. Both times they have been fantastic and got the crowds dancing from start to finish. Absolutely brilliant ? ?. We hired J.B.MAC to play at a party full of 17 & 18 year olds who were all ready to let their hair down before their dreaded exams started! They are a fabulous upbeat band and Nora’s voice is quite incredible with an excellent selection of tunes to get anyone in the party mood whether it’s a room full of youngsters or us oldies! We all had a fantastic time and we would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a good party with lots of dance tunes to get the night going!! Wow, these guys were just insane. I can’t even begin to describe how good they were at our wedding. After a recommendation from my best man, we booked Josh & Nora for the evening of our wedding, and it was the best decision we made. Punctuality, professionalism and general ease of organisation really put our minds at ease during a busy and mildly stressful point of our lives. Most of the wedding party were on the dance floor in their first set ! Not a common occurrence from what I’ve seen in the past. Josh’s beat from his live drums meant you couldn’t help yourself but to move along with the music, that paired with Nora’s powerful and soulful voice provided the best combination for a night of partying. First and foremost, I must say that Overdrive put on a great performance that had the audience grooving and moving all night long.

Their music was a blend of old school house and garage. The drumming was infectious, creating a truly immersive and engaging experience.

But what really set Overdrive apart was their live performance. Both members of the band are clearly skilled musicians and performers, and they all worked together seamlessly to create a cohesive and captivating show. The lead singer had a powerful voice that soared over the music, and the drummer added a live dynamic, instead of the usual drum machine, all of which gave the music an extra layer of complexity and excitement.

All in all, I would highly recommend Overdrive to anyone looking for a fun and engaging live electronic dance music experience. Their music and performance was top-notch, and they are sure to get you up and moving on the dance floor.

Nora and Josh were absolutely fantastic right from the second I sent an enquiry through. Their communication was fast and everything covered right up until the day.
