Patrick played amazing for my dad’s funeral. Lovely music and a lovely man. Would highly recommend. He gave my dad the best send off and for this I will forever be grateful.

With only two days notice Patrick fulfilled my expectations on what was a very emotional and sad day. Communication in emails between us was very good and timely and nothing was too much trouble. He arrived well in advance of the funeral to give him time to warm up the pipes and all those arriving were very appreciative. The deceased, my partner was from Scotland. He loved the bagpipes and would have been mightily impressed. My original Piper, sadly, was suddenly taken ill and as an organisation you certainly lived up to your name of 'Last minute musicians.' At a very anxious time, with constant updates, you made the whole booking process very easy. Thank you. I would highly recommend you.

Funerals can never be easy, but Patrick was amazing. From the off, with his great profile it was clear he was the piper we wanted . Great communication throughout, and nothing was too much for him. Even making himself available to meet beforehand to discuss the days plans. He is a lovely person and a great piper. And it was a wonderful tribute for my late mother in law

What can I say. This man is such a kind, friendly and helpful gentleman. We spoke to him a few times, nothing was too much trouble. He said he was here to help and we could ask him anything, thats what he was here for. Everyone at the funeral commented and said how lovely he played the bagpipes. Thank you Patrick we really appreciated all your help on the day. It was a pleasure to have met you. If ever we need the bagpipes again we know who to contact.

After weeks of researching the best piper I could find we came across Patrick. We asked if he could also play with a drummer. Patrick sourced Anthony the drummer for us and what a decision it was. The piper and the drummer played in perfect harmony together. Although it was a somber event being a funeral, they lifted the spirits of those in attendance and and made it the perfect send off. As a family we couldn't have asked for a better performance. They were easy to organise and communicate with. Outstanding service, I would thoroughly recommend both the piper and the drummer

Patrick piped in as the residents ate haggis, neeps and tatties. The room was very emotional in a good way and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. Wonderful playing.

Wow just wow Patrick was amazing considering the occasion Patrick went above and beyond he preformed so beautifully and respectively. Great communication with him up to 4 weeks before and even taught himself a new tune we had requested just can’t thank Patrick enough. Forever grateful.

“Last Minute Bookings” Truly lives up to their name!!! I am from the states and my daughter was getting married at the Lord of the Manor in the Cotswolds. I wanted to have a bagpiper as a surprise for my daughter. After them helping me book a piper and everything arranged and ready to go for the big day, the piper had unfortunately fallen ill and was not going to be able to play at the wedding. The bad news was short lived thanks to Sara-Jane and Last minute Booking…very shortly she had another piper lined up and we were all set!!! The piper Patrick Larkin came to Lords of the Manor and played brilliantly…he marched the wedding party over from the hotel to the church and what a surprise it was for my Daughter Claire!!! It was perfect and it was all made possible by Last Minute Booking and Patrick!! We are forever grateful for helping make our daughter’s wedding something we will never forget!!! Thank you, Jeff.

I want to thank you from the bottom my heart for helping in finding a replacement for our piper who was poorly. Patrick was wondering and was truly a highlight of the day.

Pipe Major Patrick was great. He arrived early, was perfectly happy to get ready and practice until the published start time. His playing ideally formed a musical backdrop to our beacon ceremony and was clearly much enjoyed by the village audience. Patrick followed the instructions around interludes and fireworks without any problem at all. We feel a Burn's Night coming on.

I’m sorry I did not get the chance to speak to you yesterday, so I wanted to say thank you for the beautiful music you played for my Dad’s funeral. There had been miscommunication and the mourners were gathered outside the chapel rather than at the gate. Nevertheless it made the sad occasion very special to all of us to hear the Scottish pipes leading my Dad on his final journey, and it will be a cherished memory for me always. Thank you again.

It was great to have you there Patrick- the Scottish element ran through the day and the newly Weds have gone to Edinburgh today for their honeymoon!

We hired Patrick to play at my uncles funeral. I cannot thank him enough and considering the rain we had on day he played amazingly and I would hire him again if/when needed

Thank you so much for playing the bagpipes for us on the 18th October 2019; it was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! Tom was very surprised along with all the guests - and I only managed to let slip the secret a few times! We're still waiting on our wedding videos and I'm very excited to watch my dream of walking down the aisle to bagpipes all over again. We would like to say thank you again for playing at our wedding last month, you really added something special to the celebration. From the earliest planning stages it was very important to me that we would have a piper playing some of the tunes I knew from all the Highland Games my dad took me to as a youngster. I had the window open in the room at the hotel where I was getting ready so I could hear you clearly. You were brilliant on the day, going above and beyond the call of duty throughout, and were glad we chose you. It was very good of you to stay on as long as you did. Patrick was absolutely brilliant the music was spot on,he was there when he said,everyone commented on how fantastic he was.lovely man couldn’t have gone better,we were so pleased we booked him & if we ever need a piper we’d book again without any hesitation.

I was so lucky to find LMM as this was the first time I had tried to organise anything like this. The success of the whole event was with Patrick our Piper knowing exactly what was possible and that gave us confidence as we were a little out of our depth. The process from first contacting LMM was exceptionally well co-ordinated - it was our Special Event and it went fantastically, we can't praise LMM Team enough.

Just to let you know that our celebration on 14th April with Patrick playing the pipes went just as planned, an informal family gathering with Patrick playing – everyone had a great time. Thank you for your assistance and for making all arrangements so very easy.

Patrick was absolutely fantastic!!! The bagpipes were a suprise for my husband and he was proactive in ensuring he was in the right place at the right time without ruining the surprise. He absolutely made our day and we would recommend him to anyone!

To add to the family review posted previously, on a more practical note... Patrick was wonderfully organised, when I spoke to him after booking he'd already checked Google maps to work out how long it would take to get to the venue and added half an hour for delays. He'd looked at Google earth to recce the site, and thought about additional music to supplement what I'd requested. He was there ahead of time, and was completely relaxed and supportive when I was in a big flap about everything. And of course, the music was perfect, beautiful, exactly as I'd hoped it would be. I couldn't recommend Patrick highly enough if you're looking for someone compassionate and efficient to make a very sad event very special.

Thank you so much again for your wonderful music last Friday. To see my father piped up to and into the crematorium was one of the most beautiful and heart-breaking moments of my life, and though it was sad, I can't thank you enough for the most perfect tribute to a life well lived.

Patrick stepped in last minute to play at our wedding on 9th July 2016 and was absolutely incredible. Exceptionally talented, professional and a true gent. He even donned a cape to play outside as our guests arrived in the pouring rain. I would highly recommend Patrick to anyone for any occasion!

We had Pat and his bagpipes at our wedding on 19th September 2015 and he was fantastic. The music was brilliant and it added something really special to our day. He looked brilliant to, his uniform was immaculate.

He was friendly and polite and what made it special was that he was rally enjoying the day and location. We can not say enough good things about Pat, we would have him play at other events and highly recommend him for any special occasions. Pat contacted us before the day and we spoke about music choice and he delivered an excellent selection of Music.
