Nothing much other than it’s worth checking if they have any sound restrictions that could be an issue. Although that is really the case!
I always provide background music in between live sets with my solo piano and vocal piano duo acts.
With my evening party band I provide lap top style DJ sets in between the live performances too.
Over the years I have performed at so many wonderful venues and events that I couldn’t name the best. But one that comes to mind was a wedding I performed at the Ivy in London. I’ve also performed many times over seas at some beautiful venues all over Europe too.
Honestly, too many to mention! I’m a massive fan of music in general and in regards to performing I really love performing a huge mix of genres.
Ever since my earliest years I have been playing music on the piano. It’s simply just in my blood to perform on the piano.
As soon as I saw the possibility of perform piano for a living I simply just put all my heart and soul into making it work. I have never looked back and consider myself extremely privileged to do what I do!
I couldn’t say I have a favourite event type. But I spend most of my time performing at weddings so if I had to choose I think it would be weddings. :)

The party band is perfect for during the evening reception. Standard sets are..
2 x 1 hour sets of live music with background music played through the he P.A in between sets.
PARTY BAND & DJ PACKAGE
3 x 40 min sets live music performed with laptop style DJ sets in between & up to 1 hour of DJing at the end too.
Always happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
If you choose to have me perform during your ceremony then all the music I perform would be your choice entirely. For all other parts of the day I would simply play from my vast repertoire of music which has a little something for everyone. I can of course add a few requests to the mix too if desired!
This depends very much on what part of the day I’m performing for.
For the wedding ceremony, I like to keep things, elegant and gentle.
For during the drinks reception, I like to perform a good mix of songs whilst keeping things more vibrant and upbeat whilst guests are mingling.
During the wedding breakfast I like to keep things softer for the first set, but for the second set, throwing in some more upbeat songs, getting guests ready for the evening reception.
For the evening reception with my party band, everything is set to get all the guests up on their feet dancing the night away!
