Rachel understand the importance of selecting the perfect piece of music, the piece able to effortlessly transport one to a time and place, near or far away. Rachel offers a beautiful talent, natural charm and presence that can help create a truly special atmosphere for any event.
Rachel Kerensa is a young classically trained soprano specialising in opera, classical song and musical theatre. With an effortless beauty to her voice and natural charm Rachel is the ideal accompaniment to any occasion. A regular performer Rachel can often be found at numerous private concerts, soirees and recitals across the south including her homeland of Cornwall as well as performing for weddings, funerals, celebrations and other events. Rachel has a passion for music and is skilled at learning pieces quickly.
Rachel can perform with either backing tracks, organ or piano accompaniment. Rachel supplies her own PA system

If there is something else not listed that would make your event even more special, Rachel will be happy to discuss this if time permits.
Rachel has a wireless PA system so it is not essential to have access to a power source for performances.
Although it may sound macabre, some of the most beautiful moments I have had the privilege of being part of are actually funeral and thanksgiving services. There is something very special about being entrusted with such a precious thing as a final farewell, and I believe that my part to play is to not only perform beautiful music that soothes the soul but also be a comforting presence to those attending. I always hope to leave them feeling at peace having helped to celebrate a wonderful life and to reflect upon those that may be now gone but never forgotten.
Rachel will require up to 30 minutes to set up. Rachel normally performs 2 X 45 minute or 2 x 60 minute sets. However she is more than happy to tailor the performance to your preferences.
Rachel has experience performing in a range of settings and is happy to perform outside provided there is a flat surface and during the summer a shaded area.
Rachel has a wide repertoire including opera, musical theatre and classical crossover. However, if there is something specific that would make your event even more special, Rachel is more than happy to discuss this time permitting.
Previous clients have marvelled at Rachel's technical mastery and have been held spellbound by her angelic voice that simply takes the breath away.
