Priveleged and honoured to have been asked to perform for the Ambassadors of Poland, Belgium and Malaysia, Sababa have also performed at multiple private events of Jewish/Israeli, Italian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Russian, French, Mexican, Chinese and Iranian clients, and in each case, adapted and learnt repertoire (and langauge) to entertain in the home language of their guests!

Every event is different. The most important info we need is type/size of venue/room and number of guests, then we can make arrangements for PA, and if necessary Stage, Lighting, Dance Floor. Sometimes venues provide this and sometimes client already has a production supplier, but we can be flexible.

Best venue is probably Shard because of the views. It was also probably the best gig as it was a XMAS party and everyone was in an amazing mood! Some of the guests sang with our band too
For Sababa, a band that focuses on World, Klezmer and Israeli music, the choice is too wide. Perhaps something between The Elbaz Brothers and The Buena Vista Social Club, but so many styles are performed by our band, that its hard to make comparisons!
We have been performing in many different formats for 20 years. Personally, as bandleader I started as pianist singer on the cruise ships then formed my bands (original, cover, jazz and world band, Sababa) when I got back to shore!

Sababa played at our wedding last May, after we had seen them play at a friends wedding the year before. We HAD to have them at our wedding and we’re so glad we did! We can’t recommend them enough! Not only did everyone at our wedding enjoy their set, the band kept the dance floor full and thoroughly entertained us and our guests! Song requests were fulfilled, air guitar dance-offs were loved and our photo booth pictures with the band are treasured! Thank you for lighting up the evening of our big day, and especially for surprising us with learning and playing our first dance. You made us very happy! Usually we perform for sets of about 50-60mins, but we are flexible. Sometimes it might be appropriate to perform a 30 minute or 1h30min set, depending on what's happening before or after. We also provide background or disco (DJ) music either side of our live music sets that will have a similar vibe to the energy of the live music that was played before.
GE - Corporate Event: Amazing performances. They had the whole audience up dancing for what seemed like the entire night, and totally put the DJ to shame. Will be rebooking next year.
