Reviews of Scherzando Strings

Scherzando Strings played for us at our recent wedding and they were fantastic! They played to my guests at the Church before we arrived, and learned the song I chose to walk down the isle to especially for me as it wasn't in their repertoire. They then played songs we loved during the singing of the register too which made the whole ceremony so much more special ( Braveheart brought a tear to everyone's eye). They then set up at our reception venue and played more wonderful music for the welcome hour, including Disney, Bridgerton, Harry Potter, opera, classical, just a great mix that kept us all entertained and they are wonderful, friendly people too. Sue was great to chat too and no request was too much trouble. Would 1000% hire again for any event. (10 / 10)

Excellent communication prior to the wedding and helped us to choose our music. Very punctual on the day and they played our music so beautifully. Having the quintet added fantastic live music to the occasion. I would wholeheartedly recommend these musicians to anyone wanting live music.

Wonderful trio played at my daughter's wedding. Mixture of classical, modern and film music. Wedding march was perfectly timed. Everyone said it was such a lovely touch having musicians play. Thank you so much Sue and team

Just a massive thank you for the beautiful music provided by the string-quartet last Saturday. I am sorry I didn’t get chance to thank you personally but you made a massive contribution to the event’s success. Everyone commented after how lovely the music was and I am sure the heat was unbearable on that stage at times.

I was so pleased to have the Scherzando string trio play at my wedding on 25 March. I was genuinely moved as we were announced husband and wife and they played the piece we had selected. It was a really special and beautiful moment for me.

Just to thank you for the wonderful concert in Meole Brace yesterday. The choice of music was inspired - I love Baroque and Romantic above all others. The venue was perfect and the whole musical experience was first rate. The "live" atmosphere was excellent. My first of your concerts I have experienced and not my last. Please come to Meole Brace again. i'll look out in my email box. How about a Bach Suite? Holst St Paul Suite? Finzi Prelude for string orchestra or Introit for Solo Violin & Small Orchestra - Op. 6? Thanks again for raising the bar of culture in Meole Brace!

Scherzando played at out Wedding reception on the 31st January 2015 at Oakley Hall. They were simply amazing! A fantastic quartet who could never disappoint! Thank you again Scherzando It was a pleasure.

Scherzando played at our wedding on 11/9/14 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. Everybody was very impressed by the group and thoroughly enjoyed their music. Many guests from the wedding commented on how good they were. From our perspective, they exceeded our expectations. Walking down the aisle to Pachelbel Canon in D made the day even more special for us. They were very professional and worked with us moving from the wedding ceremony, to the chapel, to the drinks reception and finally the wedding breakfast. In retrospect, I would definitely choose them for our wedding again. Many many thanks for helping us to make our day so special. Caroline and Dave.

Scherzando played for us at our wedding last weekend and they were excellent. During the planning stages Sue offered her expertise and was available for us to get in touch anytime, ready with advice when needed. On the day they added the finishing touch to the ceremony and reception. They moved outside to play for the reception in the sunshine and continued to play throughout the meal which was above and beyond what we were expecting. Absolutely excellent and would recommend for any event, really friendly and down to earth.

Scherzando provided the music for our charity's 20th anniversary open day. They were excellent. The music was varied and of a high quality. Highly recommended.

I am the videographer who filmed Ami's wedding on Saturday Sept 14th. I was so impressed by your playing, even though I didn't get a chance to relax and really listen to it, that I felt I should contact you as I thought you were both superb. I will recommend you personally.

Sue and William's talents were shared with us by a mutual friend. We contacted them and received a really warm-hearted response. What a talented couple they are! We were enthralled as they played from their extensive repertoire.

I hired Scherzando for my wedding, it was very last minute as I only decided I wanted a string quartet 2 weeks before the big day, however Sue and her fellow musicians were very helpful and even travelled all the way to Sheffield for the wedding. They also managed to learn a new song for me in that short space of time, nothing was too much trouble. Scherzando played beautifully and it made the event really special, I would definitely recommend the group to anyone for any event, but especially for weddings. Thank you so much!

Thank you and your group Scherzando for playing at my son's wedding. It was a wonderful day, in a wonderful setting, at Lilleshall Hall in the Duke of Sutherland suite and the music was perfect. As you know, my new daughter-in-law is Brazilian and her family were quite blown away by the whole day, so very different from how a wedding is conducted in Brazil and the beautiful music that you provided, quite stunned them, and added a very 'English' touch. We were particularly grateful for the 'extra' pieces you filled in with, when the bride was fashionably, if a little alarmingly 'late'. Also the wonderful care you took in talking over their choices and advising them on what would work best, at what point in the ceremony.

If anybody is seeking to add that little something extra to their Wedding day, then I would certainly recommend that they engage you to play.
