Welcome to Seventeen80. We’re a band that simply loves playing great music and putting on a good show. Together we bring our own style to well‑known Rock and Roll, Country and Americana favourites. We focus on lively, honest performances that connect with the crowd and create a fun, familiar atmosphere. Come along for the ride as we celebrate the classics and share the music we enjoy most. Take a moment to meet the band, hear our story, and see what we’re all about!

We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
Honestly? The best gig and the best venue are never the same answer.
But the best gig? A fiftieth birthday party in a barn in East Sussex. Marquee, fairy lights, about a hundred and twenty people who'd known each other for years. We went on at eight, meant to finish at eleven, and they kept asking for more. We ended up playing until nearly midnight, running out of songs, and just looping back round the set list hoping nobody noticed. They noticed. They didn't care. The birthday girl was dancing in bare feet by the second song and didn't stop.
That's the thing about the kind of gigs we play
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them
Previous customers would describe us as a stylish and harmonic group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing
