Throughout the whole booking process and leading up to the wedding always reachable and very helpful. On the day was brilliant she worked with our requests. From the start Sue was really communicative and answered any questions I had. Sue worked really well with the singer/DJ I had already booked, was friendly, reliable and timely on the evening. Sue was the saxophonist at our wedding and she was absolutely incredible!
She performed during our drinks reception, played our wedding entrance song (which gave us goosebumps!), and later brought all the energy and vibes performing alongside the DJ. Her communication throughout the whole process was excellent — professional, friendly, and reassuring. Sue truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. She played such a big part in making our wedding a dream come true, and we can't thank her enough!

Sue played brilliantly at our wedding reception, setting a really nice vibe for the afternoon drinks and on into the dinner. So many of our guests complimented us and her. Even the owner of the venue said she was listening in from one of the greenhouses! Sue was the perfect person to play for our guests. I can recommend her wholeheartedly - she's fun friendly, Uber-talented and easy to deal with.

Sue was amazing from the start. Communication was always spot on, nothing was too much trouble even after we asked for a few different quotes for set duration etc. Leading up to the wedding Sue was in contact and was very accommodating with any song requests. On the evening Sue was just amazing, so talented and got the crowd involved. We had so many compliments regarding how fun the evening was. We can't recommend her enough!!

Sue was amazing and I can’t recommend her highly enough!! She even learnt a Greek song for us and definitely nailed the play list we wanted. It was a wonderful touch to our day.

Booked Sue for our wedding super last minute, we were not disappointed she was amazing and her ability to play alongside the dj set was perfect. The song Jubel was out of this world and a moment we will remember for the rest of our lives.

I heard Sue playing at a neighbours house and thought she would be a great addition to my 60th Birthday party at home. It really made my birthday extra special and many friends wanted her details for future parties. The weather was mixed but Sue played inside and outdoors and was the highlight of my day. Sue joined the band as a last minute dep, to play Soul/Tamla/pop at a Golf Society dinner dance. She was brilliant, knew all the lines to play, and has never played with us before. She is a very talented Sax player, friendly, lively, and gorgeous with it. I would not hesitate to ask her again to play with the band.

Totally amazing would highly recommend. We had a garden party and Sue was helpful and flexible to fit in with our needs and her sax playing was just excellent.

We contacted Sue at short notice to our daughter wedding as they were badly let down by the original saxaphone player booked.From the moment I spoke to Sue I was so hopeful she would be available on the wedding day, she did have plans but moved them to accommodate us which I thought highly of as she knew the wedding couple wanted a saxaphone player and after their upset she said she would be pleased to play. What an amazing player she is, everyone at the wedding said how brilliant she was and lots of people were on the dance floor all evening. Myself and my friend hired Sue to play at my best friends wedding in December this year. Luckily she was available at very short notice . She was accommodating and excellent on the sax and lovely to deal with in the lead up to the event We were so glad she was able to help and would definitely book her again for any future events we have!

Sue played for me at my wedding in August this year during my reception drinks and also in the evening along with our dj. She was absolutely fantastic. I had always dreamed of having a saxophonist at my wedding and she made it perfect. Sue is so helpful and very professional and nothing was too much trouble. A massive thank you to Sue (simply sax) for her flawless performance at my wife's recent birthday bash. It was the highlight of a fabulous party. You really can't beat live music and it was like having our own personal celebrity grace our event. The variety was vast and even days after those in attendance are talking about it fondly. We also had many positive comments from our neighbours within earshot. The best thing too is it reflects on us as the hosts and we get the accolades.....one negative IT ENDED.. but once again thanks to simply sax our event is the talk of the town.

Sue played at my daughters wedding on Fri 3rd July at Newland Hall in Chelmsford and helped make the day very special. Sue played all the songs that the bride and groom requested and even learnt a new one that they asked for and she absolutely smashed it! I was looking for a saxophone player, for easy listening entertainment to play at our wedding event, before the disco and I came across Susan Floyd from searching last minute sax players.. I listened to a few of her tunes on her website and then made contact.
Susan was absolutely brilliant in my opinion. She exceeded all of my expectations and my guests were bowled over. (I notice one of my guests has also done her own review) I asked Susan if she knew "us and them" by pink floyd and she didn't. She went away, learnt the track and played it along with the song n the evening and She absolutely smashed it , it sounded phenomenal. I was nervous about getting someone for my wedding from a random website and not having had any personal reviews, but believe me, if you chooses Susan floyd to play at your event you WILL NOT be disappointed. She even played along with my father, who plays the harmonica.

I would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Sue (Simply Sax) for performing brilliantly at our Sons 21st Party recently. Having the wonderful saxophone playing whilst guests arrive made an instant impact. So many guests commented positively. Although Sue was booked to perform until the DJ started, she agreed to stick around until we presented the cake and played Happy Birthday with the DJ's record too. Having seen Simply Sax at a family wedding that I recently attended, I have to say how wonderful it was to see a young lady playing saxophone. She played a great range of songs, some that I remember from my days as a youngster and plenty more that kept other younger guests entertained.
