Reviews of Stamford Stompers Dixieland Jazz Band

The Stamford stompers were absolutely brilliant. Brining the true spirit of Jazz to our wedding evening party, it was impossible not to feel happy when listening to their playing. We had a vast mixture of ages and nationalities but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music. They were so kind, playing through our meal, and even letting us use their mic for the speeches! Thank you Stamford stompers!

These guys were absolutely amazing. We had them at our wedding in the afternoon, they made our wedding even more special and set the turn to be a very classy garden party. They were lovely and played great tunes and really made our day and our wedding would reccomwnd and then recommend again. Even played Disney.

You played at our wedding on the 19th August 2017 at Kingsthorpe lodge barn in Polebrook and we loved listening to your music! Lots of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed listening to you play on arrival.

Excellent jazz band, very classy, perfect for the event in question. It's nice to see a band which does things so simply and professionally, providing a full sound with the minimum of equipment. They were happy to play to the room when people were eating and talking, at a volume which still allowed conversation, but were friendly and engaging as and when people wanted to interact with them. The singer they provide has a great voice, well matched to their style, no over-acting or dramatic self indulgence, just confident strong and pitch perfect. Great day, thank you.
