The Rampart Street Ramblers played a wonderful mix of music at our wedding as guests arrived, mingled and drank at our wedding reception. The weather was not as dry as we'd hoped, so the band moved around to various places around the venue to entertain different groups. Beforehand, Dai called me and was very happy to cater to our specific tastes and needs.
So many of our guests told us they were great, and at least one couple have asked for their details for their wedding too. My only disappointment was I didn't get to hear them much as I was being dragged off in all directions.

The Rampart Street Ramblers were excellent. Easy to deal with and flexible with plans, within the parameters of the booking. They had their own good suggestions (for example playing before dinner in the garden unamplified and then amplified in the marquee afterwards which worked very well.) They performed very professionally and their style was much appreciated by host and guests alike.

I would like to thank you and Alan and Rupert very much indeed for playing so beautifully at my birthday party. I know that I enjoyed your music enormously and so many guests commented on your very professional playing and the entertaining style of your music and felt it was just right for the evening.

With all good wishes for future successes and renewed thanks for everything, including juggling the time table slightly to accommodate late dinner arrivals and sausage and bacon sandwich distribution! This was very much appreciated. as

Really amazing... People are still talking about it now even after all this time... I did have to check up a bit on the artist but the agent they use are excellent... I could see the passion the musicians had and it made my party perfect... thank you!

It was a little daunting booking a band based on a few small clips on a website, but we knew straight away they were the right band for us. The Rampart Street Ramblers were amazing value for money, and really made our wedding special. They learnt our first dance for us, and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out.
Everyone commented on how wonderful and unique the band was, and the whole booking process was quick and easy.
I would rebook on this site, and rebook this band without a doubt!

Would just like to say a big thank you for the wedding last weekend. Everyone had a great time and having you guys playing live was definitely a big part of it - one of our friends (who's a professional musician himself) said you were the best band we could have possibly found! Thanks again!

We just wanted to say thank you to you and to the rest of the band for the most fantastic two sets at our wedding. Friends and family are still asking us about you all and saying it's the best band they've heard at a wedding. We were delighted with all the songs that you chose and especially grateful to you for playing 'Tonight I'll be Staying Here with You'. The accordion sounded great in that song! You judged the mood of the evening perfectly and the music moved along beautifully in response to this. I think it was a real highlight of the day for us and all of our guests, especially the children who loved seeing you all playing your instruments.

David and the band were brilliant. The booking process was fine and communications beforehand were simple and effective with the minimum of fuss. The band turned up exactly as planned on the day and although we kept them waiting because we were running behind, they accepted it all in good humour and waited patiently to start. Our guests were full of praise for them and loved their originality and musicianship. I just wish that it hadn't been quite so warm in the venue that evening and a few more people had danced along.

It was a fabulous night, a joy to experience and your music was the icing on the cake. Everybody without exception loved the band and most of them danced their soxx off! The music was superb, the mix of repertoire perfect and the musicians jelled so well together, with great tempos, dynamics and arrangements and the backing vocals were superb. We all figure that the music on Sunday night was just about as good as it gets. Many of our guests said that this was the best band they have ever seen and I agree, you are World class! (and, over 50+ years, I've seen them all).

Your singing and playing was absolutely wonderful, and created exactly the right mood during our wedding breakfast. I was very impressed by your professionalism – you dressed the part, set up quickly and efficiently, and made sure that the whole day was stress free.
