We had a wonderful day and had a brilliant time courtesy of George and The Scottish Ceilidh Band. So many of our guests also said how much they enjoyed it and we were never short of willing participants. Thanks for all your help!

Thank you so much for coming last night. The pupils absolutely loved having a live band and you were wonderfully accommodating throughout the evening.

Well handled and so well played! Thank you for the excellent music and reels last Friday - we have had several thank you letters already saying how much people enjoyed it and what a hoot it was even though they realised they could not do it at all!! For many it was their first try and I hope not their last. We were just pleased they were happy to give it a go. I was so grateful you had the tact to realise what was required and not be insulted or frustrated by the lack of ability to follow your commands!

We wanted to say a huge thank you to you for the 25th, and for sticking around later so we could get all the reels in, it was really kind of you to stay for us!

A huge thank you for playing for us on Saturday - you helped to make the evening a great success. The dances were perfectly chosen and ideal for the difference in age group and ability!

Oh wow! What a night! Tom and I had a fabulous time and lots of people mentioned that they had a wonderful time too. Your band was excellent and we weren’t that bad at all the dances were we??? I hope you all enjoyed the night too! Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the crew! Thanks so much for making our evening so fab!

Thank you George! We had such a lovely evening (I am still aching now). Lots of the guests had never been to a ceilidh before and many have said what a wonderful time they had, and how great the band were. There is even talk of organising a village ceilidh - watch this space!

Thank you on behalf of the Parish Council for providing such a wonderful display of musicianship and fantastic choice of dances for our Late Summer Shindig. I was slightly nervous as we hadn’t done anything like this before but from the moment I heard the first strains of the fiddle I knew it would be fine. Who would be able to resist getting up to dance?
Thank you too for sage advice as to the format and for being very much a part of the proceedings – it helped to know we were in good hands. The feedback was very encouraging and even those who were resolutely shy about dancing succumbed in the end. All down to the magic of the music. Thank you again!

Thank you George for coming all the way to perform at our wedding. You did a great job at calling and well done to you all for making the lovely happy ceilidh happen ( despite the chaos my dad and his partner wreaked on the complicated arches dance!) All the very best to you all.

Thank you so much for the wonderful ceilidh you gave us on Saturday. Everyone had a great time and the step we gaily first dance worked really well. Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down! I just wanted to send you a quick email to say we had a rip roaring old night at the Burns Supper last night and the band loved it themselves! We had a packed dance floor all night although it was a form of disorganised chaos for the most part but everyone had the time of their lives and are mad keen to come again!

I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for yesterday evening, I have had so many messages since saying how much they all enjoyed it and have now had requests for a reeling club at school and also 3 of those older (naughty!) boys asking about your details as they would like to have a reeling party! I think my mission was to convert a few people so job done I’d say. You were very patient with us all!

The biggest thank you from us both for helping to make the evening a huge success. The smiles on everyone's faces as they were reeling says it all. You sussed us out very quickly and got it spot on. We so enjoyed dancing to you both and the comments in the lovely letters we have received all sing their praises for you both too. I can't thank you enough, you really did help to make the evening very special.

Thank you so very much for a smashing performance last night! We thoroughly enjoyed dancing to your band again after far too long. The music was inspiring and everyone seemed to be having a whale of a time.

Outrageous levels of fun and furious reeling. I wholeheartedly recommend you book this band and pay them a small fortune!

There was so much positive resonance in the air from the enjoyment you, Steve and Gordon created with your music and leadership. Many people commented on the numerous smiley faces and the delight at being with others, taking exercise. “Their best party in two years”!

Thank you, all, for sharing your musical flair and enabling a fun evening. We are well aware there would be nothing without your skills. Yes, there was some rust amongst the brain cells but it was also noticeable that very few dances were sat out!
