The Backbeats were fantastic to work with and were thoroughly enjoyed by the guests at Frances's 60th birthday party. Martyn was very easy to communicate with in the lead-up to the party, and when we needed to change their set times, they were happy to adapt. I would be more than happy to book them again in the future.

Thanks again for everything - including the inclusion of a few Bruce Springstean numbers for Val - it really was amazing and so very much appreciated. I know the hotel management were also very impressed and I understand intend contacting you... I'm back home now and starting to read the second edition of 'Goin' down th'Imp' - a regular haunt during the late 1960's - happy days! We booked the band for a 70th Birthday celebration and what a fantastic night they gave us; the music just kept on coming, and the dancefloor was full all night. We couldn't have asked for anything more, nothing was too much trouble and so many of our guests said how good they were, how much they enjoyed the evening and what a great choice we had made. Thank you, Martyn and co, so much for making my birthday so memorable!

Absolutely fab. From arrival to finish....?? Definitely Recommended for older parties.....anyone 40s up would enjoy their music....... growing up in that era especially ??

I booked The Backbeats for my dad's 80th Birthday party and I am so glad I did! Commnication from booking up until the night was great. Such lovely people. The music was amazing, everybody loved them and had the best time! I would highly recommend the band and I wouldn't hesitate to book them again!

We booked this band for my dad's 80th birthday party and everyone loved them. They arrived on time to do all of their sound checks. They performed their hearts out all night and were full of good humour and each member was friendly and approachable. They played a good range of music for all the generations at the party and they even came and asked us what tracks we would like in the break so that it would feel like our party. I would have them back again and would definitely recommend! Thanks guys - you gave us all a brilliant night.

Hi. I was at the Empire pensioners party at rochdale yesterday. Having been a roady in the 60s for a local group it was fabulous to watch a group of musicians play to perfection all the hits of the 60s and 70s. I hope you come back to rochdale again so I can take myself back to being young again. Xx

We all had a wonderful night. The band were excellent playing exactly what we wanted, bringing back memories of the 60's. Within a few minutes of them starting to play the dance floor was full and stayed that way all night.
The band members were friendly and could not do enough to make the experience perfect. At the end everyone was saying how good they were, so many compliments. We would definitely rebook if there is another occasion to allow us to do that.

Booked the BackBeats for my husbands 70th birthday party, what a great night, the music was enjoyed by everyone, young and the not so young, very friendly, guests asking where I found this group, so can see them booking for their own celebrations in the future. The Backbeats played at our Silver Wedding anniversary party at Grindleton Pavilion last Saturday. As soon as the band started playing, people were immediately up on the dance floor. Despite the difference in age range of our guests, the music played by the band seemed to appeal to everyone. Having the Backbeats perform as a live band created a lively atmosphere. All our guests thought they were wonderful. A band definitely to be recommended.

This great group played for us at our Community 50/60's Dance and they soon had everyone up dancing, some even started when the group were doing their "warm up"! It was a fantastic night and we got lots of good feedback. We would certainly recommend the Backbeats and hope we can have them back again sometime in the future.

The Backbeats are a sensational 60's covers band, recreating a unique Sixties vibe that is not outdated but sounds fresh and contemporary and suitable for all ages. At our party the guests,both young and older, danced all evening to every song,in fact,the night wasn't long enough.

The Backbeats played for our Silver Wedding Party and were excellent. They played a variety of music and provided a disco for the end of the evening. The party went with a swing for those who wanted to dance and for those who just wanted to listen to the music. This is the second time we've heard the Backbeats and we would love to hear them again.
