Where do I start! We booked The Fireflies for our daughter's wedding last Saturday and they were unbelievably amazing!! Not only are they incredibly talented musicians but they are just fabulous people who just made the vibe for the whole day and evening! Ian is an incredible vocalist but also has most infectious personality. He mixed with the guests making everyone feel so special and offered to be MC for the speeches etc which he carried out superbly with humour and ease.
If you have an event for which you want a band, please hire these guys, they are exceptional!!!!

The Fireflies were the perfect band for our wedding! We had collaborative and reassuring chats prior to the big day to discuss our music tastes and the types of music we would and wouldn't want to have on the set list. They handled our first dance beautifully and then entertained the party for the two sets. Both guests and the staff working the event have commented on how great the band were and I think we got exactly what we had wanted when we booked them.
They were professional and swift in their communication and in their set-up on the day and really we couldn't have asked more of them across the whole experience.
If you want a fun and engaging band who can get everyone up dancing across multiple music genres, this is your band! We would highly recommend!

We booked The Fireflies for our wedding in September 2024. Ian (the lead singer) was excellent at communicating throughout and made the whole build up and overall experience so easy and relaxed. Then there was the performance from this amazing party band. They sound great together. Bags of charisma and character from the whole band. An excellent vocal from Ian on lead, who himself is a wonderful showman who got in and amongst our guests making it a super fun immersive experience for all of them. The band also came with a lovely lighting rig which really bought their sets to life.

In short we cannot recommend the Fireflies anymore! Go book them for your wedding now!

The Fireflies did a fantastic job at my 50th birthday party. The set was spot-on, the performance first class and everyone has said to me how great the band were. The communication and organisation was excellent and the band could not have done more to make it special for me. They agreed to learn a song that I wanted to sing and were warm and reassuring on the day when I was very nervous. Great band, good people and I would thoroughly recommend them. Thank you guys.

I would 100% recommend The Fireflies, they were excellent. Really Fun band and they sounded great and got everyone involved in the dancing.

We hired These guys for our wedding in August. From first contact, the communication was outstanding, Ian was always very responsive and accommodating. They learnt our first dance song, which made it that extra special and felt really personal! They really got involved in the party, and brought so much fun to our wedding, everybody has commented on how great they were! Absolutely no regrets!

We hired The Fireflies for our wedding last Wednesday, and they were absolutely phenomenal! Ian kept in touch from point of enquiry, all the way through until the wedding morning. He took the time to learn about our preferences and what we wanted for the day and it was all executed so seamlessly. The whole band were so friendly and just brought the perfect vibe to the day!

Our guests had so much fun and we had so many compliments on our fantastic entertainment! We didn't even know set up was happening during our meal, and the lights provided by the band were amazing.

Our first dance was performed live, which was just perfect and such a highlight of our day.

Could not have asked for a better band from booking through to the wedding day. Ian called us a couple of times pre wedding to understand our very different musical tastes and managed to mix them all in for two fab wedding day live sets and a DJ set. The band even played a special song which I was incredibly last minute in deciding!

The lighting you provided to the venue also completely livened it up and created a whole different place for the evening!

So many wonderful compliments from guests since the wedding about how great it was that so many people were on the dance floor and how this was encouraged by the interaction between guests and the band. They (and we) loved the music so much! The most fabulous entertainment for what was a brilliant day!

The Fireflies were the perfect wedding band for our special day. Their energy and talent brought our celebration to life, making the dance floor irresistible to everyone. They went above and beyond to accommodate our musical requests and even learned one of our favourite songs by The Darkness. Throughout the day, they were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and fun, engaging with our guests and ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. Their performance was a highlight of our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better band.

We were fortunate enough to book The Fireflies for my 40th birthday party and, unbeknown to the guests, a surprise wedding at The Bat & Ball in Billingshurst. The band just exceeded any expectations from start to finish and made the night truly unforgettable. The performance was electric!

The Fireflies kept the dance floor jammed with their high-energy fusion of pop, rock, disco, and funk hits. Their stage chemistry and the excellent way they interact with our guests brought a fantastic vibe to our event.

Oh my gosh, the band were just absolutely fantastic. We had so many compliments about how talented they are and everyone loved the energy they brought to the day!

The communication with Ian was brilliant from start to finish, he got back to you so quickly. Also helping to pick various songs for different parts of the wedding when we didn’t have a clue.

He was also really helpful on the day- from carrying my dress to moving the crowd to the right place, nothing was too much trouble.

The band also made sure to play everyone’s favourite songs we sent over - they loved it! You definitely won’t regret picking these guys .

Where to begin? We first had the Fireflies for our wedding reception in 2019. They MADE our wedding reception, nobody had any option but to dance with the songs that were being played. We then asked them to come back and play for Sarah’s birthday - it was a complete surprise and they blew the roof off the party. Everyone commented about how much they not only brought the party but made it! To top it off, the booking process is easy and every request discussed. They really do want to make whatever the event, your event. They are all kind, fun and really professional. We would recommend them to anyone, for anything! Thanks again guys, you’re the best!

If you are looking for a band to fill the dance floor, these guys are exactly what you need. I CANNOT recommend them enough. They absolutely made my husbands 50th birthday the most amazing night EVER!

Not only are they great musicians but they are so friendly and go way above and beyond anything we expected.

These guys are awesome! I hosted a 35th Barbie party, they brought the best pink lights, wore Hawaiian ken shirts and brought the best tunes and energy. Thank you guys so much for an unforgettable evening! Will definitely be using again.

The Fireflies played at our corporate awards party on Saturday, this is the second time we have booked. As before, they had everyone up on the dancefloor thoroughly enjoying themselves. Great music and audience interaction. The communication was excellent and we were kept fully informed at all stages. Highly recommend!!!

I booked Ian and the band for a surprise 30th birthday. The communication leading up to the event was fantastic, Ian couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was clear, explain how things would work and was even extra accommodating when I decided to change the venue a couple of times. The band learnt a special song, managed all the guests so the surprise was a success and made the atmosphere so positive and energetic for the whole night, always adding personal touches to make us all feel really special. Everything about booking and the lead up to the event was made so easy and enjoyable, and the night couldn’t have gone better. The band are happy to work with any space to make the experience the best it can be, as well as accommodating music choices, requests where possible and getting involved in bespoke elements of events and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!! What can I say, Ian and the band were incredible and kept us on the dance floor all evening. The music is so good you can't tell when Ian is singing or whether it's the actual track. Seamlessly professional, warm, fun, and made the evening so incredibly special. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

Wow. what can I say. The Fireflies are a must for any party, wedding or event where live music is required. Communication from start to finish with the band's lead singer Ian was flawless, and Ian was a pleasure to deal with. The band played a 2 hour set which was brilliant and included a range of different songs from several decades. Musically the band is AWESOME and had all our guests up and dancing. We booked The Fireflies for our wedding after listening to them at our local and falling in love with them. Due to lockdown and my health not being great our wedding got postponed by 4 years but Ian made this as stress free as possible and we are so glad they could do our new date. The band was absolutely amazing from our first dance to the DJ set it was all perfect, we honestly don’t have anything bad to say and our guests have all commented on how great The Fireflies were throughout our evening. Thanks so much for playing at our wedding on Saturday. The band were so easy to communicate with in the run up, packed the playlist with songs we loved and were great fun on the night. Their set was in an orangery during a heatwave so a pretty hot room. Despite most of the guests dancing outside due to the heat they still created a great vibe. Amazing band..a must have to entertain ALL your guests

Right…..I’m incredibly fussy and hard to please, however this band exceeded all my expectations.

Communication was constant leading up to my event. WhatsApp and calls.
“What sort of party?”
“Would you like a particular song?”
“Anything else……?”

The band were very interactive with the crowd. The singer would come on the dance floor multiple times during the night.

We had such an amazing night celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. The Fireflies were brilliant, great musicians and Ian (vocalist and frontman) really got our guests up and dancing with a varied and upbeat setlist. We particularly liked that he moved through the dancefloor talking to us all as he went.

Thank you so much for learning our special song (which I appreciate is unlikely to be a setlist regular!). Fireflies are a lovely group, great fun and a highly recommended addition to any party.

The Fireflies have been absolutely incredible- they handled a last minute venue change due to bad weather with such grace and made the whole night a roaring success. Amazing energy, so much fun and just a lovely bunch! The communication with Ian the manager pre- wedding was second to none, so efficient and professional. I wish I could give 10 stars!

From initial contact with The Fireflies, to booking, to actual date of event the communication was perfect. On the big day the band were here when stated and then gave us the best music and atmosphere, even more than I could ever imagined. I cannot say thank you enough to Ian and the whole band. We booked them for our wedding party after our elopement and from the very first communication, it has been a pleasure. We booked around a year before our party and I very much felt we were looked after from the beginning. On the day itself, Ian was a dream. He just took me under his wing and did everything he could to reassure us and also to make sure we had a lovely time! It was perfect. All of our guests complimented the band and have had a couple of people ask for details for their parties. We had guests as young as 2yrs old, up to 70s and there was something for everyone. Ian’s interaction with the kids was brilliant and the guests generally. It felt like we were partying with friends. Great selection of songs and the live sets were really good! Wish the night didn’t have to end.

Now I need another excuse for a big party!

What an amazing evening!

The Fireflies not only sounded incredible but transformed our wedding reception into a party for all ages. Ian was so great in the lead-up to the wedding - ensuring that the band's set and the DJ set were packed full of our favourite dance floor filling songs.

On the night they brought so much fun and energy to the evening, even allowing some of the guests to do some impromptu karaoke!

Guests are still talking about the band weeks after the wedding and I can't recommend them enough for any sort of event.

After looking for a band for a 30th Birthday party I found and hired The Fireflies and all I can say is they did not disappoint!! From booking to end their contact with me was very good, they arrived on time on the night and were very friendly and polite.

Before, in between and after their sets they played music which was a good selection to keep the party going but the best part was The Fireflies themselves! They were BRILLIANT!!! All the guests have been saying how good they were and that they really enjoyed them, The Fireflies even learnt a new song for us as we liked it so much and they smashed it!

Would 100% recommend to anyone and would 100% hire them again myself, I also loved the fact that they come off of their set and interact with all the guests while singing to make everyone feel involved. Overall a massive 5/5 from us!

From start to finish on my wife’s surprise 50th party they entertained us all throughout the whole night.
They are so accommodating to any songs/music you want played and seamlessly transitioned from live band to DJ.
They learnt her all time favourite song especially for her.

I cannot express enough how thankful I am to the band for making my party so incredibly amazing. The band's energy is infectious and had the whole party up and dancing. I hired this band for my 30th birthday, yet even my 80 year old nan was up dancing! There really is something for everyone!

When asked the next day whether the band was what I had hoped, I replied 'no, they were everything I had hoped and more".

From the moment I booked to the actual day of the party Ian was in contact and made me feel at ease.

Wow, where do I begin? Ian and the guys have been PHENOMENAL from start to finish. From the minute we booked with Ian, the level of communication and service has been second to none. No request has been too much hassle, no question has gone unanswered and no faces were left without a smile. Our wedding was held this weekend just gone and we have had countless compliments on the band and queries about how to book them. The atmosphere was electric and the guys just give off a totally friendly, approachable vibe. Would I recommend them to others? Without a shadow of a doubt! Now I just need to find another event to book them for ☺️

The Fireflies were amazing at our New Years Eve event at the RNA Club. They kept us fully entertained from start to finish and their live sets were brilliant. A big thank you to Ian, Sam, James and Greg. We would certainly have them back and highly recommend them if you're looking for a very talented band with that little bit extra.

Checked in every step of the way leading up to our wedding. The most amazing duo for our wedding breakfast and best evening entertainment for the wedding reception! They made everything so easy and seamless! Couldn't have asked for anyone else to make our day as special as they did! Dancing with us on the dancefloor whilst singing just made it! Like we had them as guests as well as a band at our wedding. Couldn't recommend them enough!

So what can I say that hasn't already been said? The Fireflies lived upto & exceeded expectations.

From making first contact with Ian and discussing plans & requirements, to packing away after my husband Toms 70th birthday celebration in our garden, the band were personable, friendly & professional. The music they played or included on the playlist was as requested, and was perfect for all guests to enjoy.

Ian always checked that I was happy with how things were and was very reassuring, especially when he first arrived and could see how stressed I was, so that I was finally able to enjoy the party too.

So many of our guests asked how I found the band, and comments such as "they're amazing", "superb band", "they're great, aren't they" & from the birthday boy himself "wow" are further testaments as to why you should seriously consider them for your event. Even uninvited neighbours, days later, said they enjoyed the music.

Thank you Ian, Sam, James & Greg - you made our party memorable. We're still talking about it!

I honestly can't recommend these guys enough, support helpful and supportive in the lead up to everything and then when they actually started playing, amazing! Interacted with all of our guests and absolutely smashed it. The band were amazing, I promise you, you will love having these guys as part of your big day just like we did.

Amazing!! They absolutely rocked our wedding, got everyone up at dancing… yep even those people . They also were really friendly and enjoyed a good chin wag after and a beer. It just felt like they belonged.

Absolutely fantastic band who can definitely get a party going. Great range of tunes and very low maintenance, even helped out another singer on the night whose speakers failed. Lighting was awesome too!

The Fireflies recently played at our fundraiser ball with over 400 in attendance. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the entertainment. Ian (manager and singer) was so communicative before, during and after. Nothing was too much trouble and highly professional in providing requirements and liaising on timings, playlists etc. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great band. Just as long as they don’t get too booked up and are available to play at our next fundraiser! Thanks again Fireflies, you were awesome!

We hired The Fireflies for our festival style wedding and we could not have been happier from start to finish.

Ian got in touch and introduced himself and discussed everything we needed to know. They were great at communicating with us and going through our music choices.

On the day they kept us updated with their arrival time. The live music was so incredible, it was really amazing that the whole band got involved with our guests changing the odd word in a song and having a dance with us all. It really made our wedding having such a great live band, all of our guests commented brilliant they were too. We would definitely recommend. Thank you so much. Fran and James

Where do I start.. words cannot and will never be able to explain how great these guys truly are. I came across them online whilst searching for a band for our wedding and immediately knew I had to have them on the day!

Initially, I knew there was a slight logistical issue as we were getting married in Jersey! but Ian was immediately up for the challenge to make sure they played for us on our special day. From start to finish, ferries to accommodation, he was amazing and so attentive making sure everything was perfect.

We are so blessed to have met you all and to have shared our special day with you. We haven’t spoken to one wedding guest that didn’t mention how amazing the band were. Genuinely think you guys were the highlight of the day rather than the ceremony ? We had so much fun and laughter the whole evening. Couldn’t have wished or dreamed for better entertainment. You made our day, you really did. We will remember it forever.

Our wedding was the most perfect day and these guys made it more perfect than I could have imagined .Their energy is infectious and every guest commented on how brilliant they were. The attention to detail was second to none from singing me down the aisle. Live music during drinks reception and the. Full DJ and live music throughout the evening. The Fireflies provided the entertainment at my recent birthday party and were such a crowd pleaser! Every person that attended was on the dance floor for almost every song. The band were very accommodating and even changed their set times to fit in with the weather and crowd! I would have no hesitation in booking them again.

Booked this lovely band for our 25th wedding anniversary. The Fireflies had great communication from start to finish, they listened to our wishes and suggestions and did a great job entertaining our guests. Everybody was up dancing and singing with them, they were very welcoming and always checked in to whether we were happy and if we had any other requests. Such a fun band, they were great would really recommend.

The group were brilliant the company were very informative and really pleasant and friendly they kept in contact with me to assure everything was going to plan - it's just what we wanted for my husbands 70th birthday. Everyone was up dancing and they all said they really enjoyed the music. Well done and thank you very much for making Malcolm's party brilliant x

Had the honour of seeing these guys recently at a wedding I was attending, they were awesome. The lead singer was a gentleman and nothing but a pro, quick witted and crowd engaging. As for the rest of the band the lead guitar, bass and drums were again an exceptional level. The range of music they played pretty much broke the mould covering all genres from pop to RnB all the way over to rock and soul. nearly covering every decades best tunes. Had a chat to singer and again I must say a very personable guy always wearing a smile and full of good energy.

I'd have absolutely no problem highly recommending these guys to anyone thinking of booking them for any type of event, they filled the dancefloor with every song, had people singing their hearts out and made the evening extra special for all.

I booked The Fireflies for mine and my partners wedding and to say the band smashed it is an understatement, had so much fun. The band sounded amazing and got people on there feet, if you're looking to book a band for your wedding or any other party I would 100% recommend these guys you won't regret it they know just how to take your special day to the next level.

They are so accommodating, friendly and amazing at what they do. Our day was so special already but having them there to play in the evening topped it off. Ian and the band got everyone involved; he was dancing with us; getting to know everyone’s names which was so lovely and personal.

Everyone that came to our wedding, hasn’t stopped talking about The Fireflies! And it was worth every penny.

The communication between them and us near the wedding, made us feel less anxious and more excited. They’re so easy to talk to and liaise with.

These guys were amazing, made me feel centre of attention all night long. Ian really made my night special, his high energy, his interaction with the audience, they were an amazing group of fellas. I highly recommend them and will be booking them again!

I booked this band for my birthday party and so glad I did - they are brilliant. Ian communicated with me at regular intervals regarding my booking and checked if I wanted to change or add anything. He emailed all the documentation I needed regarding, electrical safety certification and contract so I could pass on to venue. They are a very friendly bunch, nothing too much trouble and checked in with me throughout the evening. They are very talented musicians and learnt the song I requested and did it proud. They also DJd in-between the band sets and the price was very reasonable. Very happy with this band, you won't be disappointed.

The guys were booked for a works Christmas meal and party. They were amazing, such a good night, everyone was up and dancing. They are fantastic such a good vibe and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to re book them as you are guaranteed a brilliant night. Hope to see them at a gig soon.

We booked Audio Riot last minute for our wedding after our band had to pull out due to covid. Feel like it was meant to be as we are so glad that we had these guys. The communication from Ian right from the beginning, before the day and then through the day was great. That aside, they are definitely a party band which is what we wanted. Ian is definitely a performer - we had a crowd that liked to be up dancing however he was amazing at getting everyone going.

Audio Riot were fantastic from the point of enquiry right through to thoroughly entertaining us all at our long-awaited Christmas party. Highly recommend!

From the day we first booked Audio Riot Ian kept in contact with us throughout the months leading up to our big day. The performance they put on at our wedding was absolutely amazing, guests of all ages were up dancing. Great selection of songs. One of the highlights for us was that the band took the time to learn our first dance. We as a couple will never forget that! Having Audio Riot helped complete our amazing day. When all your guests ask how we chose the band and the man running our photo booth comes and asks saying “I’ve been to a lot of weddings and this is one of the best bands I have ever heard”, Just confirms what a success they were. We recommend to all and will definitely use them again for family celebrations. Thank you Audio Riot .

We waited a few days to write this review on account of all of the clearing up we’ve done since our Wedding party. This is relevant because it means I am not writing this on a high - it’s objectively true...

Audio Riot have been literally phenomenal from day ONE of enquiry.

Their communication has been faster than anyone I think we’ve ever worked with. They put solicitors, practitioners, contractors and even accountants to shame in terms of their promptness and professionalism. I cannot stress this enough.

We were left with no questions, their user friendly communication and questionnaires answered questions we didn’t even realise we had yet. Their communication between booking to event date was regular and friendly. This took any stress we could have had in planning a band away - meaning we could concentrate on everything else to plan.

On planning: our wedding party itself was amazing. The band - namely; Ian - coordinated everything for us! Cutting of the cake / first dance / blessing - everything. It was like having a showbiz, extremely talented musician also acting as an on the night events planner!

The show set up was WAY above what we expected. The lights turned our hall into a legitimate show - and it seemed like they managed to do this without any interruption all the while playing some great music to keep our guests entertained.

Oh my goodness - they were PHENOMENAL on stage. They had the people dancing ALL evening. I don’t think I’ve seen 3 encores at a wedding ? - but it was at least 3 plus DJ sets that only inspired more dancing and singing!

The only regret is that we don’t have another event lined up that we can invite them to play.

If anyone is looking for an extremely good band, excellent performance, fantastic taste in music, the friendliest of people and next level professionalism - these are your team.
