The Love Junkies have established their reputation over the past two decades as one of the top UK working function bands. With a set of disco, pop, soul and chart anthems that keep audiences on the dance floor all night long.
The band replicate as close as possible the hits the way they are meant to sound. We specialised over years in providing wedding entertainment and have the experience to reliably and seamlessly fit in with ‘the special day’. Corporate work has given us the opportunity to play venues including The Savoy, Madame Tussauds, The Natural History Museum for a variety of clients, conferences and awards ceremonies. We play festivals in both support and headline capacity having the experience to warm up large crowds with a really accessible and crowd-friendly set for all.

Self sufficient with PA and lighting rig included. We are flexible enough to provide a separate feed to FOH engineers for any venue with in-house PA. Normally 3 parking spaces, probably 6m x 4m minimum space.

Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lizzo, Prince, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Sister Sledge. Bruno Mars, Adele, Tina Turner. The greatest floor fillers are vibes with a disco four to the floor. Favourite closers are Proud Mary, I Will Survive and Disco Inferno. Tina Turner's 'The Best' is an epic.
All the players in the Love Junkies have had experience in regular gigging bands before. Many of us also perform in a larger soul band that's a tribute to The Commitments. We love classic floor fillers, such as soul belters, disco and pop anthems.
We aren't too picky, anywhere where there's joy in the audience and a willingness to get up and boogie.
We will arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We can perform 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40mins. Happy to play a bit longer or shorter.

We are happy to entertain requests and if there's a fave on our set list that's fine. We will sometimes entertain requests but we can't do every style. If not we will always play a fave song over our PA. We're flexible.
