About / Biography

We believe that when it comes to live music, it’s not about how big you are – it’s about what you do with what you’ve got. And what we’ve got is a four-piece band with the energy, style, and sound to lift any event – from intimate weddings and private parties to large-scale celebrations with hundreds of guests. We bring the atmosphere, the nostalgia, and the floor-filling anthems that keep your guests dancing all night long.

As a compact and professional line-up, we offer the perfect balance of big sound and flexible set-up. Our size makes us ideal for smaller venues where space is limited, but don’t let that fool you – our live sound fills rooms of any size with energy and excitement. Whether you're planning a cosy celebration in a countryside barn or a packed marquee reception, we’ll deliver the same high-energy performance, tailored to your event.

Our sound? Think rockpopindiesoulnroll. It’s a unique blend that draws on the best of the last 50+ years of music – from the unforgettable classics to indie bangers, Motown favourites, and singalong pop hits. Every song we play is instantly recognisable and guaranteed to get feet moving, from your youngest guests to the grandparents. It’s all killer, no filler – a set packed with songs that you and your friends know and love.

We specialise in reading the room and building a setlist that works for your crowd. Want a high-octane party with non-stop floor-fillers? Done. Prefer something more chilled to start the evening before building up to a big finale? We’ve got you covered. Every performance is designed to keep your dancefloor buzzing, with seamless transitions between songs and the kind of musical chemistry that only comes from years of playing together.

What makes us different is our ability to adapt to your event. We’re not just background entertainment – we’re here to create a moment. Whether it’s your first dance, a surprise birthday party, or the celebration of a lifetime, we work closely with you to make sure the music hits the right note at every stage of the event.

We bring our own top-quality sound equipment and lighting, ensuring a professional look and sound from the first chord to the last encore. And because we’re a four-piece, we set up quickly and efficiently – no fuss, just music.

In short: we’re the band you book when you want to bring your favourite songs to life and create a party atmosphere that’s unforgettable. Big sound, huge energy, and a personal touch – all from a tight, talented four-piece that knows exactly how to make your event sing.

Let’s make your night one to remember.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Ideally we need a performance space of at least 5 metres x 3 metres. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 3 parking spaces. But we're pretty reasonable people, so please get in touch to discuss.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we bring our own PA system to all of our gigs - suitable for up to 150 indoor guests - as well as a simple lighting rig. For larger audiences or outdoor events please contact us.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music prior to the event."

Our venue has a sound limiter, will you be able to perform?

Yes. We're used to working with Sound Limiters, as long as we have prior notice we can work within any noise constraints the venue requires.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

It's hard to pick, we have performed at so many great events and venues - and each has it's own special character. Although we are suckers for a summer wedding in the Yorkshire countryside...

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

It has to be The Beatles. We always perform at least one of their songs every time we perform, and they are the one artist that brings everyone to the dancefloor and united all ages!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Between us we've performed and recorded all over the UK, Europe and USA. You can hear us on everything from indie rock records to advertising jingles. We came together for a friend's party and decided we had something that was worth keeping! That was over 15 years ago, and since then we've performed at hundreds of weddings and events across the North of England.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing!

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

For an evening event we'd typically arrive around 6pm to load in and set up. We usually require 60-90 minutes to set up and soundcheck, depending on the venue. We normally perform 2 x50 minute sets.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We're happy to perform outside provided we have cover, a flat level surface (not directly onto grass) and a safe and dry power supply.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We will learn one request for clients as part of our standard fee. For additional requests, please make an enquiry. We're happy to work with clients to select a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients have described us as the perfect band for a party, and one that has something to get everyone on the dancefloor. Clients have also commented on our customer service and our willingness to work with them to make their event a success.
