Best band ever!
If any couples out there are looking for a live band just stop now and book The Spectrum.
They absolutely MADE our wedding reception and we all had the BEST time. James is MEGA helpful and communicating was easy and fast. He also liaised so well with our venue and other suppliers to make everything so easy!
They nailed our first dance and within seconds our dance floor was full. We do have a party crowd of friends and they were all saying they were the BEST band they'd seen at a wedding....WOW!
They were everything we wanted and more......thanks guys for ROCKING IT!!! XXX

From the moment we first contacted The Spectrum to play at our wedding, I knew I’d found a real gem. James has been so helpful and friendly throughout, including two date changes due to covid.

A large percentage of our guests have since told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I think a lot of that is due to the Spectrum - from setting up outside, nailing the first dance track to learning a new mashup for the day; they were the perfect mix of professional and fun.

Also, props to the DJ who dealt well with the squawking women asking for more Spanglish tracks ?

You performed at our wedding in Chester on February 15th and we have recently gotten our photographs back, so I thought I would drop you an email to finally say thank you. Neither of us have Facebook or any other social media, but please feel free to use this if you would like to.

Matthew and I had spoken for a long time about wanting a band at our wedding. We've been to a lot of weddings and the best ones always have live music, but then we were tasked with finding a band who would fit the bill. From the very first contact made, you were professional and made the whole process easy and manageable. The fact that you learnt my favourite song for our first dance is genuinely something I will never forget. The dancefloor never emptied and only got busier and busier as you continued to play and our guests were so complimentary of you and your music. You created the perfect party atmosphere, which is exactly what we wanted! Due to lockdown, the wedding seems even more special given that we haven't been able to see most of our guests since the wedding, and so we just wanted to say a massive thank you for giving us and our guests a wedding reception to remember and cherish forever.

We celebrated our wedding a few weeks ago at Davenport House in Shropshire. James and the rest of the guys in the band played an awesome couple of sets and also went to the trouble of learning an obscure song by a band that we had seen together together years before and they smashed it!

The DJ sets were great too and we even got to finish the night rocking out to Alter Bridge in the main hall which was an awesome way to finish the night.

James is very professional and personable and made it all really easy to organise. The whole band were really friendly and helped make a perfect day even better. Thank you!

WOW - what a night - last Saturday The Spectrum played at our Wild West themed 21st Party - they were FANTASTIC. From the 1st time I contacted James, through the friendly & easy booking process, to agreeing the playlist, to the set up on the day, to the playing on the night. It was an absolute pleasure to have you guys to help make the party go so well - thanks so much!

Last night we held our annual Academy Martial Arts awards night and 16th anniversary. The events previously have been quite low key and only really involved a DJ, but this time we wanted to reflect what we are as a school and go bigger. I've not organised an event like this before and from first contact James and the Spectrum band were absolutely fantastic!! They listened to our running order, gave advice, but more importantly gave us confidence that they would make this a good night. Throughout the evening there was constant communication between me, Spectrum and the sound engineers, who were also amazing. The night was a massive success and the band had everyone up and dancing to some banging tunes!!
I really can't recommend these guys enough, their professionalism, their talent and their ability to adapt were second to none!!

Fantastic band that rocked our wedding in July! The dance floor was packed all night long and so many of our guests have commented about how amazing The Spectrum were! They were great at getting in touch and planning how the live music and DJ should flow which was so helpful, they learnt our first dance which was amazing, we have so many great memories from our wedding day, but some of the stand out ones are from the dancefloor singing our hearts out with everyone. Thank you so much, wish we could do it all over again!

Will never forget our wedding reception 4 years ago today with the Spectrum as our wedding band. They were fantastic and everyone agreed that they were the best band around. Well...what can we say....AMAZING!!! From start to finish the dance floor was never empty! Our guests absolutely loved the music played and how the guys got everybody engaged and bouncing around! Massive massive THANK YOU to the band for the set they played at our wedding on May 26th! The reviews tell you everything you need to know about this band. We booked them based on what we'd read on here and made 100% the right decision.

Communication from James was great from the first email right up until the day. I even met the band in advance briefly just to say hello which was good. We gave them a list of songs (probably too many!) but they based their set around that and the people at the wedding - there was something for everyone and the dance floor was full the whole time. James advised they play as late as possible to allow the booze to kick in (our guests, not them - very professional!) and it worked a treat, finishing around midnight. The DJ also played a great mix of our requests before and after their sets and had everyone up too - playlists are good, but you can't beat a DJ to take all that stress away so you can just enjoy yourself.

Every one of my guests commented on how good they were. I can't praise or thank them enough for making our day so memorable - including the bruises I got from a tambourine they gave me whilst joining them on stage to sing to Mr Brightside and also their version of 'happy birthday' to my 8 niece - she was made up!

So, if you're umming and arring you can stop right now. Pick up the phone and get them booked. They won't disappoint.

A huge thank you to the guys at the Spectrum for entertaining our guests at the LAM Action Charity Ball on Saturday 30th September 2017 in Birmingham! We raised £15,500 which will go straight into research towards finding a cure for a rare lung disease, which is simply amazing and our guests all had a fantastic time singing and dancing to your great music! I would highly recommend you as a band, you were absolutely brilliant! Please can we book you for Sat 28th Sept 2019 for the next Ball!?

The spectrum played at our wedding in October at The Blakelands. They were amazing on the night and in the lead up to our wedding.
James communicated very promptly from my first enquiry. I was so pleased they offered a DJ option too so the party would carry on in between sets. With this, and after watching you tube videos of them we decided to book the band. Our first dance song wasn't a song the band knew. They learnt it for us and performed it brilliantly on the night. Our guests also selected a song they wanted playing on our rsvp's. This was passed to the band / DJ and they happily incorporated this into the night. On the night the spectrum were amazing. They play at The Blakelands regularly so they set up very quickly and without hassle. Following our first dance they got all our guests up and dancing. The atmosphere was brilliant. The floor was filled until the very end. I would highly recommend them.

We cannot thank you enough for your performance at the wedding. We had an amazing time and people are still telling us how incredible the band were. You honestly made our night better than we could ever have dreamed of. We had so much fun and we can't even put into words how awesome we think you are. Thank you so so much.

Wow, what an incredible performance The Spectrum put on for our wedding on Saturday! We absolutely loved it. They learnt our first dance song for us and played it perfectly with exactly the right mood and tone we wanted for it. We booked this band for our wedding last Saturday after we saw them at another wedding last year. I must say they are the best band ever and James was amazing to deal with for everything. Absolutely first class in every respect!! Right from the very first contact, the communication and organisation was excellent. It gave us the confidence that this aspect of our wedding was completely sorted. The band learned our first dance, which was an unusual choice, and absolutely nailed it! Just perfection! They also adapted a classic song that we had chosen for the closing song and performed it exactly how we wanted. I can not recommend these guys strongly enough!

We booked The Spectrum for our evening wedding reception and were blown away with how brilliant they were! From the first enquiry right the way through to sorting our song choices and first dance, they offered us very helpful advice and were profession throughout. The night itself was more than I ever hoped for! The dance floor remained packed all night, with the perfect mix of music chosen for our guests, we certainly partied hard! I have been asked to leave some feedback for The Spectrum so here goes... First thing I have to say is our reception was fab! The whole evening could have been a DISASTER but thankfully James and the band made the day end quite literally on a high note. Everything was running really, really late due to uncontrollable reasons and our venue was less than helpful with timings going out of the window. (Family reasons, long story!) James helped advise that we move our first dance to the start of their set which meant that I could relax and enjoy the night. I have had lots of messages about the wedding and everyone mentions the band and how much they enjoyed singing and dancing. We looked at loads online and loved their videos..they are even better live! James is very good at communication and we felt so pleased to have them be a part of our day. The Spectrum played at our wedding day yesterday and they were fantastic. The dance floor was full all night and they learned two of our favourite songs for our big day which was such a lovely touch. The Spectrum played at my wedding last night and they were incredible! Top lads to meet and a fantastic band who really got the place going and helped to create a great atmosphere! Also worth adding that prior to the big day they were very easy to organise with and quick to respond to any calls/emails which always helps when planning for a wedding! Very flexible to what we wanted and played the songs to suit the crowd and everyone was delighted with them both with their sets and their DJ which was included, would definitely very highly recommend, thanks gents!

The spectrum never fail to amaze us at how brilliant their music is, having played at my mums 50th, sisters 21st and our Wedding in June they still surprise us each time with how fab they are !And now all booked up for my sisters wedding . Hi James & the band! We had booked a band however they cancelled on us at the last minute (hubby's friend!). With only a month to go I must admit we were freaking out about not having a good band which we wanted from the start. Through a friend we heard about The Spectrum and watched their video's and liked what we heard. On the day of our wedding the band were very professional setting up on time and all the timings went to plan. They sounded brilliant! Our photographer commented that they were one of the best he had heard also. Just the right mix of classics/new songs and they really looked like a proper band! Amazing! x

Brilliant! Looked around and wanted a band that looked and sounded good in the videos that I watched online. Never booked a band before so didn't know what to expect...these guys were great. The band called me when I had some questions and dealt with the venue really well too. They even let me join them for a couple of songs which my wife loved! Great guys & great band.

The Spectrum went down a storm at our recent awards night. Honestly never seen the dancefloor so lively with any live band we have had in the past. The girls all loved the Katy Perry song!!! Will definitely be seeing them again. Also very efficient in communication from the band.

Many thanks to you and the whole Spectrum team for an absolutely fantastic evening of entertainment at Rachael and Fabrice's wedding last Saturday. We just loved having The Spectrum play at our wedding. We were both impressed just how professional this band are. From the initial contact responses were quick and even with my endless questions, nothing seemed too much trouble. On the day itself it felt like I was meeting an old friend when finally meeting James who I had been dealing with. We were a little concerned about not seeing them live first but we needn't have....they were excellent and sounded even better than the video clips we'd seen. We both thoroughly recommend this band. Planning a wedding is a headache however from the first contact right through to the big day communication was flawless and The Spectrum made an extra effort in learning our first dance song and playing it live for us - which was special!
They were reliable, timely and read the reactions of the guests perfectly thus played an amazing set of brilliant, on your feet tunes! The DJ element was great having not to look into finding this as an extra job! Thanks guys you played all the right tunes as we never left the floor! Highly recommended.

To everyone thinking of asking these guys to play at your wedding/party/event... DON'T EVEN THINK TWICE!! These guys are AMAZING and will make your night!!!!! I cannot recommend this band enough as they played at our wedding on Saturday and we are still talking about it now!! We booked The Spectrum for our wedding in February and they were brilliant! They had a really wide range of songs which meant all age groups enjoyed themselves and they even learnt two new songs for us which were both amazing! The fact that they also provide a DJ for in-between sets is such a great idea and meant that the dance floor was full all night. We have had so many positive comments about them since the day, with everyone saying how much fun the evening reception was and how much everyone danced. We were a little nervous booking a band that we hadn't seen live, but we absolutely should not have worried. They were so friendly, the songs were brilliant and I'm so pleased we booked them! x

The Spectrum are a fantastic band that really made our reception! We can't recommend them enough. Communication from them was excellent, and everything they promised turned true on the day. Both young and old guests were heading to the dancefloor where we sang and bounced up and down all night! They are really friendly too and incredibly easy going but professional in their approach. The sets they played had lots of our requests and felt really personal to us. I wouldn't hesitate in booking them again!

If you are looking for a great band for your party then this band will be what you are looking for. I wanted music all night and this band come with a separate DJ-ideal! They were easy to deal with and on the day of our party came in and setup with professional ease. They played a fab mix of music which was perfect for our event. Hi to James and the rest of the band! Thanks so much for making our event one to remember. Their communication is excellent and really helped with our planning. When it came to the evening they were so professional, my husband was very impressed by the overall sound, the sound guy was controlling it from the back of the room with an Ipad-wow! The mix of songs played was perfect and played with energy and fun. I will certainly be booking them again and highly recommend The Spectrum!

We are finally back into the swing of things and back to reality (which is utterly depressing) and am getting round to thanking everyone for making our day absolutely amazing, including yourselves!!

We had so many compliments about how good you were and I'm so happy the dance floor was packed from start to finish. Which of course I knew it would be as they follow lead from me! Haha. Slight party animal. The extra songs you learned we amazing and went down fantastically well!! You should definitely add them to your repertoire. They were my favourite of the whole night. And is was great to see you guys enjoying yourselves too as there's nothing worse than seeing bands disinterested in their sets!

In all a massive success!! Will definitely recommend you to family and friends though you sold yourselves brilliantly on the night so no need!!

The Spectrum were chosen to play our Autumn Ball from this site and what a great choice! We chose them because they come with a DJ also which fitted our requirements. The band were excellent and played a varied mix of lively songs for everyone to dance to. We have already booked them for next years event!

Everyone had such a great time at our wedding reception. The Spectrum were such good fun, and played an absolute blinding set of fantastic songs! They're really nice guys and we've had lots of messages from friends saying how great they were! Can't say enough good things about them!!!

The Spectrum were, without doubt, the best wedding band and DJ we had ever heard. From the moment we sent the first email, to the tweets the day after the wedding, every interaction with them was great. But on the day itself, the guys were fabulous. They set up with no fuss whatsoever, while we were having dinner, and were completely flexible when our timings overran.

The entertainment they provided was awesome – a great mix of music to get everyone dancing, from youngest to oldest. At one point, they even brought their guitars and joined us on the dance floor. They were great fun, they looked like they were having fun – and that makes a huge difference. Their music is super – they are a very talented group of guys – and the DJing was great too. Our wedding was very much a modern day – and the Spectrum ensured that the dancing and evening entertainment was fresh, fun and very modern – but done in a timeless way. Thanks guys – you were a fantastic addition to our amazing day!
