About / Biography

The Tartan Tenor is a highly sought-after entertainer, sustaining an impressively varied national and international professional performance career earning him the title of "Scotland's Top Classical Crossover Singer"

Available for hire as a soloist, he performs a very busy schedule of over 250 events annually. In Scotland, he is in high demand as a first class performer for Weddings, Awards Dinners, Charity Galas, Burns Suppers, Funerals and Private Events with a stunningly mixed selection of popular entertainment packages suitable for many facets of occasion:

Solo Singing Waiter Performance

Solo Themed Vocal Performance

Solo Ceilidh Caller

Event Host

Within his career he has worked with acclaimed UK vocal quartet "The Opera Boys" a position he held for a decade, performing on numerous internationally renowned cruise liners as a guest entertainer act, as well as performing with them on five of their UK Theatre Tours and as entertainment for private events both at home and abroad. His career has taken him to some truly stunning locations and venues, with highlight performances at the likes of Windsor Castle, Buda Castle (Budapest), Gleneagles, BBC Hoddinott Hall, Villa Eva (Ravello) and Goodwood House. His client list is equally as impressive with regular appearances for the country's largest charities and businesses. Within Scotland, he also performs extensively with Care Home settings realising the incredibly cathartic and medicinal powers of music, in particular for those suffering with dementia and Altzheimers. On top of his work as a live performer, in 2016, he notably lent his vocals to a national radio campaign for a string of commercials on Capital Radio as the voice of Tony Macaroni.
