In addition, prior to the event, you gave me some amazing DJ music during the welcome cocktails and prior to the main music section after lunch. These little things make such a difference and show what a lovely and caring man you are, Rory, as well as being very professional.

This summer, Tijuca Taxi enchanted the audience with his fusion of acoustic Latin with Brazilian music, jazz and soul and the arrangements were tastefully orchestrated with guitar and percussion. It made for an engaging performance. We hope to have him back again soon!

"I was chatting to other Bloomers this morning at our working party and they felt his music created the most perfect atmosphere for the occasion.

Rory played for our client's open-air Brazilian carnival summer barbeque. Combining swinging samba and Bossa Nova with up-tempo popular tunes and funky originals, he went down a treat with our guests, creating a festive atmosphere and keeping them drinking and dancing until the embers glowed. The standard of musicianship was excellent and the level of professionalism very high. A great success!

Tijuca Taxi played at our anniversary party. He is an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist. He impressed everyone with his playing and singing and he was the talk of the evening. Live music adds a special dimension to an event and there is no better person to provide this than Tijuca Taxi. He is reliable, flexible and professional. We have no hesitation in recommending him. We look forward to booking Tijuca Taxi again for all our future family events.

Tijuca Taxi entertained at my 50th birthday in our large garden. He brought all his equipment and was ready to start straight away. He was a multi-instrumentalist, and I couldn’t believe it when he got out both saxophone and flute. He played beautiful music with a professional, original backing track, I noted, and it was wonderful to have that live element. He also changed costumes half way through which we were quite surprised and amused at; I thought that this really added to the high standard of his professionalism and the variety of what he offered. He was very easy to talk to and I would definitely book him again. Even the neighbours next door asked if the music was live as it sounded so special and they wanted to come and listen.

Tijuca Taxi is a talented professional. He contributed greatly to the ambience we were trying to achieve for our Brazilian-theme wedding shower. He plays several instruments very well and has a broad repertoire to choose from. We were glad to have asked him to play at our function.

The trio did a great job.

Rory and his colleagues played at my husband’s 40th birthday party. This was held on a summer evening at home for around 60 people. Having live music totally transformed the night. Rory's band created a really unique atmosphere. The music was relaxed and subtle, which meant that the conversation could flow, but so enjoyable to listen to that you didn't want it to end. I would love to have the opportunity to hear him play again and I would not hesitate to engage him for another occasion.

I wish to thank you for your recommendation of Rory to perform with Holly (percussion & vocals) & Julian (guitar) in a Latin jazz trio for my wife's special birthday a couple of weekends ago. They were brilliant. A great musical backdrop to a very successful garden party and a real hit with all our guests. We will recommend them without hesitation. Thank you again.”

Our music evening at Novotel Manchester Centre was elevated by Tijuca Taxi. His talent and skill made for an entirely lovely evening for all of our guests, many of whom commented on how much they enjoyed the performance. I would highly recommend this act again as they were not only talented and played wonderful music but also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the evening.

Tijuca Taxi added a wonderful, tasteful musical presence to our staff summer party. Their musicianship was top notch, they were professional all the way through and I would gladly book them again for a future event.

Tijuca Taxi put on after show performances for Manchester Camerata at the Bridgewater Hall and at the Royal Northern College of Music respectively. I am pleased to say that both performances went successfully; Tijuca Taxi brought a tasteful cosmopolitan selection of Brazilian tunes and acoustic Latin, blending well-known arrangements with original compositions, which created a buzzing vibe and went down very well with our audiences, keeping them at the bar all evening! Great fun and would definitely book for future events.

Just to let you know that all went smoothly at Gallery Oldham. It was a lovely concert, and they had a really warm reception, so we enjoyed it immensely! We had nothing but good comments.

Tijuca Taxi was so easy to work with - a great professional. He even helped us out with last minute requests such as lending us extra microphones for speeches and bringing a music stand for our celebrant. As soon as he started playing the room came alive - from saxophone to piano he added a special, sophisticated, musical magic to the evening. I heard Tijuca Taxi playing an impromptu set at the Long Table and I was blown away with his performance. Extremely talented on many instruments, he got everybody dancing and a really fun guy. I'd recommend him to get the party started with the talent!
