Urban Myth played at our wedding on 14 July 2018.
They were absolutely unreal. They rocked the barn, got everyone on the dance floor
and smashed out two amazing sets. The feedback from all our guests was
incredible. We've already recommended their services to two lots of friends who are
getting married next year as we'd love to see them again.
Their website is great, their song selection is on point (no cheese, just tunes), the girls
belt out the vocals and they're all quality musicians individually as well as
collectively! Can't praise them enough!

My husband and I recently got married and had the band as the night
entertainment. They were absolutely fab!!! Excellent band, sound amazing, strong
vocals. Everybody loved the selection of music. Overall fantastic and we will
definitely recommend.

Really can't thank this band enough , they did a fantastic job at our wedding on the
17th Aug. 2019, all our guests had a fantastic time and everyone commented on how
brill you was, you got lots of people up having fun dancing so I would highly
recommend this band without a doubt, if we need a band in the future I will definitely
be booking them again, so if you’re after a band for your occasion then get these
booked!

We hired Urban Myth for our wedding in June 2019 and we honestly could not be
happier with the experience. We found the band to be extremely professional
throughout the entire planning process and with a reassuring attention to detail,
which meant we had full faith in them to deliver on the night – particularly after
watching them perform live in Didsbury beforehand. When our big day finally arrived,
they were absolutely fantastic and played two one-hour sets that had our guests on

the dance floor all evening, providing a real atmosphere to the night. The set-lists
were varied enough to please all ages, and our guests genuinely commented
afterwards about how they made the evening. If you are looking for a wedding band,
Urban Myth is a perfect choice.

We booked Urban Myth to play at our wedding; after seeing their promotional video
online we were sure that they would be an excellent band to choose. The band were
really helpful and organised, making sure that all the arrangements were sorted in
good time and their communication was really helpful. The music was incredible, it
was just what we expected, and their choice of songs was perfect for getting a party
started and keeping it going. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend them for any occasion and they were an excellent choice for our wedding.

I hired the Urban Myth for my 50th birthday bash November 2022. They were very
professional indeed, they were on site, set up and out of the way before my guests
arrived. From the moment they started playing they had my friends and family on the
dance floor. However, the biggest surprise was that my partner told them that I was a
huge Gary Newman fan and despite them being an RnB band, they learnt a Gary
Numan song just for me and even let me sing it with the band, what a fantastic
gesture, that really made my night!! The days that followed I was asked multiple
times who the band was, and I was more than happy to pass on their details. I
wouldn’t think twice about booking these guys again for any future celebration. If you
are thinking of booking them, just do it, you won’t be disappointed.

Just wanted to give a big thank you for playing at my wedding in July 2023. For
anyone considering booking Urban Myth, here are the best things about them.
Firstly, they sound amazing and even learned my first dance song, which I’ll never
forget. From the very start, they gave me all the information I needed and talked me
through what usually works best in terms of timings etc. They came early to set up
the bulk of their equipment to minimise disruption as our whole day took place in the
same room. We also took advantage of a daytime acoustic set which was lovely. The
main performance again, wow. Everybody was up dancing, and the night really was
the best ever. Thank you so much to all of you for making my day extra special.

Hired the band for my 60th Birthday party in March 2023 and they didn't
disappoint! Their song list is great, they're all super talented and they had the dance
floor full all night!

So glad we booked this band – May 2023! They were great to deal with in advance
and even learned a new song for us for our first dance. On the night they were so
professional and just made the whole evening. We had so many compliments about
them! They really know how to get everyone going and let their hair down.

The band were outstanding. I can't recommend them highly enough. Really got the party going at our wedding. Loved it. Thanks guys.

Thank-you all very much for making the slightly longer trip to Ripon than you normally would for a gig. The two sets were just outstanding, a great mix and even a few Xmas classics. Debbie's powerful vocals had the 100+ guests blown away. The best band the mess has had. We will be using you again I am sure.

Massive thanks to Urban Myth for turning our wedding into such a party! From the minute we saw these guys playing months before we knew they were the only band for us... You really have to see them play live. Totally professional in the build up, they even incorporated some of our song requests into their set list.

Urban Myth joined us recently at an annual dinner and dance – and had people out of their seats in seconds. A really fun, friendly and flexible band. We have decided to book them again for this year..... everyone’s talking about seeing them again already! Cannot recommend enough!

Urban Myth performed on Valentines Day 2015 and were absolutely amazing! The dance floor was full all night and so many people commented on how brilliant they were. We booked Urban Myth for our wedding reception after seeing them at a gig in our local pub. They were sensational at the gig and out of this world at our wedding. I have never seen a dancefloor full, and spilling over, from the first dance to the last second of the encore. They were brilliant and kept our guests entertained and energised all night. Urban Myth performed at our Wedding Reception and they got the Party started! Perfect set list covering all era's, performing songs that everyone loves and real dancefloor filler's! After speaking to guests after the event, the feedback for the Urban Myth was really positive and we would recommend them for any party occasion! The connection between the band & audience was electric and made for a great atmosphere, they would of played all night if the hotel management would of let them!! Big thanks to them, the cherry on top of an amazing day to remember forever!
