We had Verve at our wedding reception and they were brilliant! Everything we wanted from a jazz band. I wish I could have spent more time listening and less time hosting! They were highly professional, dealing with the scorching heat on the day, and planning was easy and clear. We would highly recommend booking them.

I booked The Verve jazz duo for my garden party to celebrate my birthday on the 15th of July 2017 after a recommendation from a friend. It was a huge success and we still talk about it to this day. The guys were really professional and friendly but, most importantly, played some wonderful and passionate jazz which made the day very special. Everybody loved it and the guys created the perfect ambiance for the event. The piano and double bass was a surprisingly full sound and the level of musicianship was absolutely top notch throughout. The most gorgeous treat of a lunchtime gig yesterday at All Saints, Hove (Concert Series) with the Terry Seabrook Trio. Terry on piano, Nigel Thomas, bass, and Darren Beckett, drums. Celebrating the music of Bill Evans & Miles Davis. Sensitive and atmospheric. And thanks to Peter Morris for this innovative series in such an amazing setting.

We've been running concerts in our living room for just over two years and have hosted two outstanding, memorable Jazz concerts involving Nigel's Verve Jazz trio, with Terry Seabrook and Al Scott with Nigel on bass and Darren Beckett on drums. The quality of musicianship and atmosphere was really exceptional a physical, heartfelt performance from all with particularly beautiful, intimate solos from Nigel.
