We booked Vikki for our Harry Potter themed wedding and she was superb. The song list she holds is extensive (classical and modern) and even learnt some pieces that we requested to tie in with the Harry Potter theme. Before the wedding Vikki was incredibly professional, prompt, polite and efficient with communication. On the big day, Vikki arrived on time and played beautifully. Many guests enjoyed listening to her and commented on how impressed they were with her musical ability. Vikki - you truly made our wedding magical with your music - we would recommend you to anyone. Vicki beautifully set the mood with her sensitive playing. She played beautifully for almost four hours. Timeless classics intermingled seamlessly with more modern popular pieces. She was charming throughout the evening. A pleasure to arrange for her to play. She stood in after I was let down, but so professional. Brilliant playing. Vicki created the perfect ambience for the evening. Many guests commented on her excellent performance and charming manner. I strongly recommend Vicki for any function. From booking, Vikki provided a very extensive song choice list with lots of great options. She also offered to learn any music we might want that wasn’t on the list- and amazingly did this and played my desired entrance song. We had a valentines evening at Larmenier Retirement Village and we invited Vikki to come along and provide the entertainment, which was excellent, all the residents enjoyed her music, we would not hesitate to hire her again for another event.

Vikki played beautifully at our daughters church wedding and at the venue. There were lots of comments from the guests, all of them saying how fantastic the music was. We chose Vikki to play at my daughters wedding which was perfect in every way including Vikki's part in the whole day playing music before and during the ceremony. She has an excellent selection of music and will also try and accommodate requests that are not in her repetoire.
The ceremony is the most important part of a wedding and with so much going on for anyone included in the wedding party its difficult to pay a great deal of attention to listening to the music, but all the guests commented about it and how it was very appropriate for the setting.

Vikki, as we say in East Yorkshire, is a 'good 'un'. Apart from being a superb musician on both cello and electric piano, she is a very pleasant, professional person and made us feel very much at ease in the lead up to her performance. Vikki performed during what was probably the noisiest part of her event so full marks to her for playing in 'testing' circumstances, she received a standing ovation from her audience and this was richly deserved.

I would not hesitate to recommend Vikki and she will certainly be very welcome back at Kilpin anytime.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to vikki, she was absolutely amazing. I was looking for a pianist and cello player for a surprise for my future wife to be. It was a little bit last minute, as you'll know the cost of weddings does rise very quickly. I contacted vikki and within 24 hours I had a reply and also a very good quote. Her response was brilliant and also her time keeping was spot on. I would book vikki again for any further events I have or will be passing her details to friends and family. I found Vikki at Last Minute Musicians through a random internet search. What can I say? I'm so glad I found this site and Vikki. She was prompt with her reply and professional in all our emails and our meetings. She took on all the music we needed her to play on the piano and also arranged a special piece of music I had chosen which she played beautifully for us on her cello. Her piano playing is lovely and this along with the cello solo added so much to our wedding service. Thank you Vikki for your help in preparing for, and playing at, our wedding and for your wonderful music skills.

Vikki was amazing from start to finish. She was so professional and approachable throughout the organisation of our event. On the day she was perfect and gave us a lovely cello/piano duo. Even when the priest got a bit lost she helped to keep everything on track. The performance was seamless throughout and made the perfect accompaniment to our perfect day. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I really appreciated Vikki's warm response to, and understanding of our requirements.
She was efficient and flexible and all practical arrangements were thorough. She was also more than punctual, arriving before due time in order to set up and welcome our guests on arrival.

She planned a really lovely programme for the afternoon event 3pm - 6pm. Her playing was beautiful and rich and she was sensitive to the size of the gathering in terms of the volume and tone she used.
As the piano in the venue was less than poor, she brought her own electric piano on the proviso that she had help getting it into the venue and back into her vehicle at the end. This was the ideal solution for us. It has a very nice tone.
I highly recommend Vikki for weddings, engagement parties, formal occasions, dinner/tea parties and more. Whatever the occasion she strikes me as being more than capable of meeting the brief.
I'm so glad I have her in my contacts as I'm certain there will be occasions in the future where I won't hesitate to call on her excellent services.

we were looking for a pianist for our wedding at burythorpe it was a last minute decision so i decided to look on this web site and i listened to vikki music it was absolutely beautiful it was played with so much passion so i contacted her and lucky for us she was available to play on the Saturday not much notice 5 days but we gave her a list of music that we wanted and didn't expect her to be able to accommodate us but it all came back good and on the day of our wedding vikki was punctual on time and nothing was to much for her and the music was absolutely beautiful i would recommend her for any function playing the piano /keyboard without hesitation good luck vikki

vikki was fabulous. I contacted her to play the piano at my wedding pretty last minute and the brief kept on changing but she was endlessly patient and accommodating. One of the pieces didn't have any music so she actually wrote the accompaniment herself from a collection of (different) recordings, which was incredibly generous of her. Her playing was lovely and she was professional and charming. I would definitely recommend her.
