You were just superb, your singing and your personality shining through since the first minute you arrived at the Little Fox. Hopefully we will have the great pleasure of seeing you again soon. If you read only ONE line of this review...BOOK THE VINTAGE VOCALIST FOR YOUR EVENT!

From the initial phone contact with Paula to her saying goodbye on the day, our time and experience was 100% positive in every way.

My wife and I were able to choose from a huge set list of songs from various musical era's and genre's and Paula seamlessly organised all our favourites into a cracking party playlist for the wedding reception. By the third song, she had guests up dancing and by the second set, my 86 year old Auntie (who walks with two sticks), was throwing her shapes on the dance floor!

Paula absolutely made our wedding day! We had guests from the age of 7 to 86 and we can honestly say that each and every one of them loved Paula's performance. Many spoke to her themselves to thank and praise her and many more told us how impressed they were and that they'd be either booking her themselves or would attend venues she'd be performing at in the future!

Paula looked stunning in her classy vintage dress and her fabulous voice entertained our party and the local York residents, who sat out on their apartment balconies with a drink to lap up the free entertainment!

What makes Paula so special, is that she instantly felt like a friend and a guest, not a singer we'd booked for our wedding entertainment. Her warm, open and down-to-earth personality, instantly puts you at ease and she has a brilliant Yorkshire accent and sense of humour! I loved that as I returned from the bar with a drink to keep her refreshed during her break, I found Paula sat amongst all my family, laughing and joking. We felt happy to see her enjoying the day with us and confident that our entertainment was in good hands.

Our 8 year old son was desperate to sing a duet with Paula and we loved how accommodating and kind she was. Some artists would be precious about their professional set being gatecrashed unexpectedly, but Paula embraced the request and handed him his own microphone! Our family really liked and admired her for going with the flow and making the day special for everyone.

So if you're considering booking The Vintage Vocalist and need a little persuasion to choose this incredibly talented Yorkshire lass, let me leave you with this...

Bit late but wanted to put my 10/10 review on here for Paula.

We hired Paula to sing 70s music for my mums 70th birthday party back in November. Paula was absolutely perfect, everybody loved her and she was the talking point of the night. I thought her singing was better on the night than in her professional videos.

We’d had a very stressful day, Paula arrived on time and put us at ease straight away.

We had Paula to sing at my Mum’s 80th birthday party, this was a surprise present from all the family. Paula sang my Mum’s favourite songs from the 1940’s, which I was able to choose and she sang them in 3 sets throughout the evening.

Paula looked very professional with hair, make up, clothes from the era and even a vintage 1940’s microphone to complete the look. Paula kept me informed of everything prior to the evening so it all went smoothly on the night.

Paula chatted to my Mum and other guests throughout the evening, which was lovely. My Mum absolutely loved it and I can honestly say it really made her birthday celebrations special.

Paula Marie performed to 65 guests at an intimate Sparkling Afternoon Tea in aid of The Prince of Wales Hospice. We received positive feedback from all our guests, who thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon singing and dancing to classic vintage hits from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's. Paula not only has a stunning voice, but also charmed guests with her knowledge of vintage music, fun facts and audience interaction. Paula Marie - The Vintage Vocalist was an amazing show. The set was fantastic for all ages and nothing was too much trouble with all requests catered for. Paula has the most amazing period voice that sounds like it came out of the best the period could have ever put on stage and she looks stunning. Her notes and voice was absolutely amazing. Paula was charming professional and had everyone dancing and singing along. To say Paula made the event from start to finish would not be an understatement. Paula Marie performed at mine and my friends joint 40th on Saturday 26th November 2016. We chose to host a Hollywood themed party and wanted music that reflected this. Paula Marie was more than happy to accommodate and catered to our every need providing us with an array of Hollywood songs from the 1930's to 1960's.
It has to be said, her voice is absolutely stunning and she was very professional throughout the night. The guests were blown away by her vocals as were we, and have recommended her to several people since the event.

We are so sad that we were busy having pictures taken and therefore missed the set ourselves. You sang at our daughter's wedding at Leighton Hall on Sat Oct 22nd. Jenny and Andrew Cressey. We were so thrilled with your performance/repertoire. You were brilliant. My other daughter Kate, the bridesmaid and my cousin Janice still talk about us all dancing to your music straight after the ceremony especially to 'It's getting better' by Mama Cass. It remains a lovely fun highlight of a wonderful day.

Paula Marie was fabulous! Her set of 60's dance songs got everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. She was really professional to deal with and made our event last Tuesday evening.

What a fabulous performer! Paula Marie was truly fantastic and was so captivating. She entertained all our wedding guests ranging from 2 years to 90 and everyone commented on how fabulous she was. She also took time to speak to our guests and was so friendly and approachable to our requests. I do hope we can find an event to be able to book and listen to Paula Marie again. We would thoroughly recommend for any occasion.
