Small space is fine and as we use backing tracks are able to play at your preferred volume rather than typical 'drum fighting volume' but louder if you like it that way!

We are back after a two year break (formerly 'Rev It Up') and joined 'Last minute' as 'Way Below Average' in July 2026! Ian began pub and club gigs around 2000 and has continued on and off since then (having played hundreds and hundreds of gigs over the years) - with own material on streaming websites as 'Darkcave' (original material not representative of our set)

Mati (virtuoso and expressive lead guitarist) has played professionally, internationally with many different bands and has played thousands and thousands of gigs

Al (Ian's son) fronted his own indie bands in the noughties as well as playing many gigs in the duo
