We would highly recommend the Wigornia string quartet. We booked them for 2 hours during our wedding breakfast and they were perfect. They arrived early and quickly and quietly got on with their setup, to the point my wife and I didn’t even realise they had arrived. Once we had entered into the dining room and sat down, the string quartet got started with the music, which was a great mix of well known songs played in their style. This went down really well with our guests and they all enjoyed listening along and trying to be the first to guess which song was playing and then singing along to it. Every song ended in a big round of applause which tells you how much the guests enjoyed it. We are both very happy with our decision to book the Wigornia string quartet for our wedding.

Exceptional musicians that played so beautifully adding to an amazing atmosphere for guest arrivals, the ceremony and the drinks reception. Such a brilliant range of music including bride and groom choices, and guest requests. So professional - would highly recommend.

We hired for our wedding and right from initial contact the response time and information was great with very little input needed from us. The quartet arrived in plenty of time and were the perfect addition to our wedding day. We got so many compliments and they really helped create a lovely ambience for the cocktail hour and ceremony. We would recommend to anyone considering a 4 string quartet to absolutely go with the Wigornia String Quartet.

We booked Wigornia String Quartet to play at our wedding, and they were simply perfect! They learned an extra song to play while I walked down the aisle, and continued to play lovely songs from their own repertoire during arrival drinks. We got married on the hottest day in May, and they stayed relaxed and upbeat while playing during what must have been (to say the least) not ideal conditions. Thank you so much!

We booked the Wigornia String Quartet after seeing them at the NEC Wedding Show, 2 years before our wedding! Communication was great and the price was excellent. They were happy to play outside for our wedding ceremony & were able to move inside for the drinks reception, we really appreciated their flexibility! The music was incredible, absolute perfection. Their repertoire was vast & up to date. Our guests of all ages enjoyed music they recognised!

For our wedding, we always knew we wanted a string quartet, trouble was, we had no idea where to start looking for one and if any near us would travel to Hereford. Fortunately, we went to the NEC Wedding Show and met Wigornia. After speaking with them and listening to a few pieces from their repertoire we went ahead and booked them! They had an array of different music, from classical pieces to Bridgerton-esque takes on modern/recent popular music. For us though, we wanted more classical with some pop to fill in the gaps. We’d also requested La Vie En Rose for our entrance piece and the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for the exit music. The process was pretty easy, the cost was fantastic as well, including travel and refreshment expenses. All we had to do was provide some cover (especially as it was in the high 20s the whole day and not a cloud in the sky!). We’ve had so many lovely comments about Wigornia, they did exactly what we wanted and more. I would 100% recommend them to anyone wanting to add some timeless, classic flare to their day. On Monday 4th August at Pendrall Hall in Codsall Wood, our daughter Lauren married her partner John in a truly unforgettable ceremony. We had the pleasure of booking Wigornia String Quartet to perform before, during, and after the ceremony — and they were absolutely superb.

From the moment they arrived, their professionalism was evident. They were punctual, well-presented, and completely self-sufficient, which immediately put us at ease. Their calm, confident presence and clear experience with weddings gave us great reassurance that the musical side of the day was in safe hands — and it absolutely was.

They played beautifully throughout, adapting seamlessly to the flow of the event without needing any direction. Their ability to read the room and respond intuitively was remarkable. One of the highlights was their performance of several modern pieces specially requested by Lauren — all delivered with elegance and flair, showing both versatility and genuine musical talent.

Wow. The Wigornia String Quartet were simply amazing. They elevated our wedding experience as well as our guests. We had so many positive comments from guests saying how great they were. We would definitely recommend and think they are well worth their value.

We first came across the Wigornia at the Wedding Show at the NEC. At the time we never even considered a string quartet but after listening to them play at the show we decided it would be a lovely idea. Despite the very poor acoustics of the NEC hall and associated ambient noise they sounded great.
On our wedding day they arrived early to set up and then started playing, wow! what a difference in the quality of sound due to the change in venue. A large number of our guests commented on the fantastic music the quartet played. Walking down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Cannon in D and back to Vivaldi’s Spring was more than a little emotional for not only us but also our guests. I would highly recommend The Wigornia String Quartet to anyone thinking of having a string quartet at their wedding.

Wignoria played for our wedding from the guests arriving to the end of the wedding breakfast. They were fantastic, the music was amazing and played our requests for walking down the aisle as well. Would highly recommend them and they are very reasonably priced for 4 talented musicians.

The string quartet, played at my wedding sept 2021 and we’re fantastic.
Since the day we booked them, Sean was very helpful and good with replying. They have a good selection of songs to choose from, from modern to classic. They were able to play my desired song choice for walking down the aisle and played it so beautifully and so well. Our guests enjoyed listening to them play.

The Wigornia String Quartet performed beautifully at my wedding last month. I was very happy with the songs that they performed and how I could choose the songs that I wanted for my walk down the aisle, registry signing and exit. They knew a good balance of classic and modern songs. I'd 100% recommend! All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

The music sounded beautiful and really set the tone for the ceremony and day. We first heard Wigornia at the National Wedding Show at the NEC and were impressed with what we saw. Originally we weren't going to have a string quartet but hearing them play changed our minds. The Wigornia String Quartet played at our summer wedding - both in the church and at the marquee reception. Their rendition of Pachelbel's Canon was breath taking and as I walked down the isle it is a moment that will stay with me forever. They are adaptable to any location (our reception was on the top of a mountain!) and played effortlessly for the time we agreed. Highly recommend.
