"The booking process with Chris was so easy, he was flexible and even though he couldn’t do the time I wanted I loved the fact he got back to me with the times he could do. He was quick to reply and made all so easy and mangeable. He got in touch with songs he could do which was a lovely touch that I got to pick the songs too. The day of the party Chris turned up on time and set up early, in preparation. He was so warm and friendly with all the guests and was so lovely listening to the children's requests, in fact he even tried to learn some requests in his break. We were celebrating a birthday and the man in question wanted him to stay on to play which he advised he would have, but unfortunately had another event that evening. I wouldn't hesitate in booking Chris again, he was a lovely person, but also a very talented musician who made everyone feel at ease and we had a wonderful afternoon."

"Our party took place on a horrendous cold windy and rainy day; but, you wouldn't have guessed it! Steelosophical (duo with DJ services) bought the Carribean weather to the party and was all the guests talked about even 2 weeks after the party. The band were professional, and surprised me with their range of songs ( there was something for all ages and cultures) and their talent with one of the members taking a turn on the mic. They arrived early to set up so the guests were played to on arrival. The hotel in fact were late with the reception drinks which didn't matter as everyone was so transfixed with the band. Gary is a pleasure to deal with and happily used his experience of events to judge the mood of the event and play music accordingly. My mother always has to complain about something and she was full of praise for the band and the party as a result of the band. Result!! I would rate them 11/10 and would highly recommend them."

"Duncan was everything I had hoped for. I booked him very last minute and he was so helpful and kind and then when it came to the event..he played every song wonderfully + more. "We booked Rowan to play for our wedding several weeks ago in a small church in Edinburgh. He played lovely Irish and Scottish tunes while the guests came into the church and found their seats, which everybody in our small party of 30 loved, my mother especially! He then played a beautiful slow air for myself to walk up the aisle to, a tune that I had never heard before but now will remember forever since it suited the moment so perfectly. After the ceremony was over, it was once again back to the more lively stuff for everybody to leave to, as we headed off to our reception. The music was beautifully played and tastefully selected, and so myself and my new husband would highly recommend Rowan for anybody's wedding day. "
