I don’t remember a time when I haven’t played an instrument.
I started, like most children, with the piano but quickly moved onto the clarinet, saxophone and then harp.
I studied the clarinet at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with John Cushing and had so many incredible experiences there: playing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with world renowned orchestras including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Scottish Opera, and recording for BBC Scotland’s Children in Need.
On graduating and entering the world as a professional musician, I moved back to Rutland where I grew up. This is where I rediscovered my love for the harp and at my first wedding booking for a family friend, I found how much I love weddings.
I feel so privileged to be booked for a wedding or any event. You put such faith and trust in my abilities, and it shows that you want to make your event unique. So many of your guests will never have seen a harp up close; I may be biased but it's pretty beautiful!
I have been described as a "creative beast" by Michael Collins, world-renowned clarinettist, and always put my heart and soul into all my performances. I have been lucky enough to perform for audiences including The Vamps, Michael Parkinson, Her Grace The Duchess of Rutland and His Majesty King Charles III.
