"Andrew was absolutely amazing and we’d recommend him to anyone! A couple of our family members definitely raised their eyebrows before the wedding when we told them we weren’t having a traditional band and were opting for a piano man instead, but the second Andrew started playing, any doubts completely vanished. He was fantastic from start to finish. He handled our first dance with total professionalism and then proceeded to fill the entire room with an incredible party vibe and so much energy. We made the most of his talents by getting our guests to write song requests on their place cards during the wedding breakfast. Andrew collected them all in a bowl and pulled out his favourites, playing the tracks brilliantly, and shouting out who had requested them, which everyone absolutely loved. He took the requests from a fairly drunken crowd completely in his stride. We are still astounded that just one person could produce that quality of music and read the room so perfectly. He was an absolute joy to hire and completely delivered for us, so if you are planning a wedding or any party at all, book him!"

"To say it went well would be a major understatement! A 5 Star performance of a wonderful choice of music, most of which was played from memory. Besides her prodigious talent, Anna herself is such a charming and animated person; we feel quite humbled to have met her, on and off the stage. She has certainly made friends as well as fans of our members here in Wales."

"Rory was fantastic. He arrived around 7pm, well before he was due and he sat with me and went through the types of things he could play. He played his set in a very professional and fun way and there were so many compliments from our guests on his presence. If we ever need a saxophonist again he will be our first point of call."

"Nigel was fantastic and really completed our vision for the perfect wedding. As soon as we met him at a wedding show my wife and I were convinced we needed him to play at the wedding. He played several pieces during the ceremony including some special requests, and played them to perfection. He even suggested we decorate his piano to keep on the theme of the day. Our wedding was perfect and Nigel really helped to make that happen. Booking and communication was all super easy and straight forward too and the price was good. Definitely recommend *****"

You created the most perfect atmosphere during our ceremony and were everything we could have hoped for. "Modern Strings played at the marriage ceremony of our wedding. They had excellent and lovely suggestions for the music to be played, and were more than happy to play music of our choice. Total professionals who didn't give us a moment of worry, these team know their stuff. Ask them for suggestions on how your music choices can fit with timing on the day! Would definitely use again. "Kevin & his guys played at the corporate Christmas event that we organize each year for our biggest client and was a pleasure to deal with throughout; from the initial enquiry through to the performance on the night. The music was sublime and our client was thrilled. Would love to work with Swing Odyssey again. If only I had a party of my own to look forward to I'd book them for that too!!"
