Review Centre: Specialist Musicians

"I have had the pleasure of seeing Kitty perform twice now at my mother's residential care home and she was delightful on both occasions. She has a beautiful singing voice and sang a great many wonderful songs including Summertime, Put the Blame on Mame, Rum and Coca Cola and Que Sera Sera during an Afternoon Tea Party provided by the home. We were all mesmerised by her lovely face and her kind and inclusive attitude towards the elderly residents (and her fabulous red vintage shoes!) as she sang to them and occasionally encouraged them to join in. She was particularly kind to my mother who was thrilled that Kitty had been invited back to sing after a successful event there during 2016. Thank you KItty. She is a talented singer and a lovely young lady and I would not hesitate to recommend her."

"Zoe played for our wedding ceremony and reception drinks and it was the most beautiful thing! Every guest mentioned how amazing and special it was and the hear our favourite song being played as I walked down the isle was an unforgettable moment! Can’t recommend her enough! Lovely and professional from start to finish! "

"We can't express how special Sandy made our birthday even today. She turned a small family birthday party into something truly memorable. Not only is Sandy a beautiful singer, her warmth shines through. Professional yet friendly, perfectly on time, a real pleasure and treat to have sandy at our family function. Made a birthday girls dreams come true with laughter , tears, hugs and superb singing. Can't recommend Sandy highly enough. A must for a very special occasion. "Madhu performed 2 separate 30 minute slots alongside the DJ at our wedding and absolutely smashed it! The 100+ guests all loved the amazing IBIZA & party vibes she managed to create & saw the addition of having Madhu perform as an extra something special to add to our big day. Madhu is really friendly & professional & was quick to answer any questions via email which really reassured us. Would 100% recommend."

"This year we chose Debbie Abbott to provide the evening entertainment for our well-established annual community event and asked her to sing two sets of 45-60 minutes each. She turned up well in advance to fit in around our plans, started and finished singing exactly on time and gave us a couple of extra bonus songs at the end. Debbie has a terrific voice - smooth at times, powerful at others, with clear diction - and the audience of 115 loved every minute. We left the playlist to Debbie with only general guidance only towards 60’s and 70’s music and her song choice was pitched just right for the audience. She asked for and was given a few requests on the night that went down exceptionally well, especially one for a couple who were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. Both Debbie and her husband Peter were very easy to get along with and friendly giving us exactly the vibe we needed for our audience. The sound equipment they brought was amazing allowing Debbie to demonstrate her remarkable vocal talents to the full. Ours is quite a large hall and her voice was clear across the whole area. The audience were truly appreciative of Debbie’s voice and character as can be witnessed by the amount of people crowding the dance floor at times and the many positive comments we have received on Kinglassie Facebook pages. We have already had several requests to ask her to come back again next year. (10 / 10)"

"A huge thank you to Enchanted Harpist for playing so beautifully at our wedding in September. She was so lovely to engage with prior to the day and we found her to be incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating to our song requests. The music she played in the build-up to our ceremony and as Severine walked down the aisle were perfect and we couldn’t imagine our day without it. "Rory and his colleagues played at my husband’s 40th birthday party. This was held on a summer evening at home for around 60 people. Having live music totally transformed the night. Rory's band created a really unique atmosphere. The music was relaxed and subtle, which meant that the conversation could flow, but so enjoyable to listen to that you didn't want it to end. I would love to have the opportunity to hear him play again and I would not hesitate to engage him for another occasion."

From the very start Sarah-Jane was extremely easy to work with; professional, on hand and easy to communicate with, as well as being exceptionally friendly. "We booked Rebecca for our wedding as we wanted something special and to have a nice and romantic feel to the ceremony and reception drinks. Rebecca provided excellent communication at all times. On (and after) our special day, we received many compliments on our song choices and having a harpist really added the wow factor.
