Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"SJ and Nicky came to play at our wedding on the 6th July. We had come across her music a year or so earlier and absolutely loved it as we are real country fans! The booking and arrangement process was seamless and although some rain meant she couldn't play in the courtyard as planned, she quickly found an alternative location and set up without issue ready for our arrival. The music was terrific, my wife was very star struck and we were absolutely thrilled!!! "

"Amazing set from a lovely duo. It was a surprise for my wife's 60th Birthday. They made her feel so special, singing and dancing with her. Ages from 25 to 75 all danced and sung the night away with a great variety of song choices. I would definitely book them again & recommend them to everyone, you won't regret it. Joanne has an amazing voice, she can sing everything and James is a great singing guitarist. We all loved it it and would like to thank them for a wonderful evening. "

"Zoe played at our wedding - she was absolutely amazing, we first saw her at a wedding Fayre and as soon as we heard her play we knew we had to have her at our wedding. She travelled very far for us to come and play which we really appreciate. She really set the moment for us when I walked down the aisle, in the foyer and during our wedding breakfast. It was so lovely to hear the music playing in the background was beautiful. We will never forget it. Thank you so much Zoe. xxx"

"We hired Andrew to play during our wedding ceremony and he was absolutely fantastic! From day one he was professional, polite and helpful. I requested a specific song to be played as I walked down the aisle, it wasn’t very well known and was a little bit random! It was no trouble for Andrew, he learned the song without any sheet music, sent us a demo of him playing and even agreed to a meet up before the wedding. The ceremony was beautiful, and he certainly played a big part in making our day special and perfect. Andrew is not only a fantastic pianist, but a genuinely lovely guy too. Thank you so much! "

"My (now) husband and I were keen to have a saxophonist play at our drinks reception and luckily Robert came up as a suggested supplier at our venue. We are SO glad he did because from the minute we heard his showreel on his website, we knew we had found the musician for us. We chose from one of the packages Robert offers which meant he also played us down the aisle. It was so special and many guests came up to us to say how impressed they were with his performance. Other guests also thought we knew Robert as a friend which I think is testament to his personable nature and friendly vibe. Would highly recommend!"

"I booked Chris to entertain my residents on D day this year and they thoroughly enjoyed him. He sang a wide selection of songs and they enjoyed his wartime medley which they all sang along to. I've now booked Chris every month and have recommended him to other managers in our group."

"Rebecca was incredibly supportive running up to our wedding, advising us where she could to help us make the best decisions. She also put in a massive amount of time learning a new song and creating the backing track so we could have exactly what we would like. Incredible value and the guests thought she was amazing!"

"A superb afternoon is how I would describe what Nick provided for us. What impressed us is that he was bombarded with so many requests from all over the years and he not only remembered everyone’s requests he played them all. I had never seen him play before even though others have and he certainly lived up to his excellent reputation. Also a very personable fella with a lovely way about him. I can see how and why he gets so many repeat bookings which we have done for summer and Xmas . "

"Modern Strings was a pleasure to work with for our big day. They were professional from the outset and had a huge choice of songs we could choose from. Anyone thinking of a string quartet or similar for their special day should look know further than these guys. They are brilliant. "
