Review Centre: 1920s, 30s & 40s Style Bands

"The band played great music, they had great melody and guests commented on this. They played for my parents 40th wedding anniversary 8th Sept 2018. Fun was had by all. The band played a good selection of music and lots of guests commented on this also. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The Tom Belbin Trio Jazz Band really made it a good party and are a very talented band. I have to say they were also very accommodating, as we had long speeches etc.. I would have no problem in recommending The Grand Central Trio jazz band."

"I just want to place on record my sincere thanks to you all for your superb performance on Saturday night at my 50th Birthday Party. We all thoroughly enjoyed the music and didn't want it to end. The dance floor was full throughout the night and with dancers of all ages. - a real tribute to your artistry. Many of us woke up on Sunday morning quite bleary eyed but with so many of your wonderful tunes going around in our heads. You have created many many happy memories. I will not hesitate to recommend you to other people."

"I can't thank the whole band enough got the amazing music and atmosphere they created during our wedding party in Edinburgh. Their mix of old and modern songs worked in perfectly with my vintage theme and was definitely one of the highlights of my night watching them perform. The BV's are a band I would love to see play again and I will be looking out for some of their regular gigs in Edinburgh to head along to. Thanks so much for helping to make my wedding party something special!"

"You know how you read some reviews and you think it must have been one of the band or a member of the family? Beleive me this isn't one of them. Nicola and the boys were absolutely perfect. Everyone and I mean everyone had the best time. Such an intimate experience with a fabulous band. Our wedding was like an interactive later with Jools Holland gig. We couldn't be happier with the quality of music, atttitude and overall professionalism of Nicola and the boys. Would we have them again at another event? We wouldn't consider anyone else. There are so many "wedding bands" with standard generic chart music out there. If you want a charismatic performance with timeless music perfectly played don't waste your time looking anywhere else. We couldn't get our guests off of the bloody dance floor and there was also a much loved encore!! Nicola we can't thank you and the boys enough. You made our day spectacular. "Summer Samba exceeded all of our expectations! They entertained our 70 guests with enthusiasm, talent and even dressed the part! (1920's theme). They were a delight to co-ordinate with, and engaging with our guests throughout. They performed four 45 minute sets, with short breaks between. Swing, Jazz, Samba and Salsa throughout. I couldn't recommend them more! An absolute bargain if considering entertainment for a private bash or a work do! "

"Fabulous night with The Red Hot Rags on Tuesday. Non stop & up-tempo swing from across the ages. Singer Jessica De Giudici went from strength to strength and Giulio Romano was a delight on guitar. Three Italians & two Brits made for a really entertaining evening. They will be back."
