"I was very nervous, while organising my wedding party, but clear communication from Maya, personalised service made me feel really confident about this part of the evening. We wanted 4 piece band and Maya made it happened for a very reasonable price! Wedding took place at the boat, which made it a bit harder for the band, but with no adverse effect on the quality of the entertainment. Music has been discreet when we needed it and then they really got the crowd going. Guests really appreciated their presence on the night. The band was talented, polite, friendly and accommodating and they even took last minute song requests. Maya, from the bottom of my heart – many thanks for being part of our big day!"

"Thank you all so much for your amazing performance on Saturday evening, which was everything I could have hoped for! Your music was brilliant, got everyone up dancing and I can’t tell you how many people told me afterwards 'how brilliant the 1920s band were’. As soon as you played your first song I knew we’d struck gold! It couldn’t have been more perfect given the whole Gatsby theme and everyone so dressed up, so thank you all so much. You may be interested to know that we raised an astonishing £7,000 on the night! With just 96 people in the room…amazing! Thanks again Matthew and I'll not hesitate to recommend you if anyone should ask me for a fabulous 20’s Jazz Band!"

"We booked Fann Street Hot Club after hearing them play in London. Booking them was probably one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! As Jan knows, so many of our other plans fell through, the worst of which being we suddenly had to change the venue!! But the band fit in seamlessly with all the chaos, and were absolutely wonderful. We couldn't thank them enough for everything they did to help make our wedding day the best day of our lives. We would highly recommend Fann Street Hot Club to anyone, without hesitation. "We absolutely loved the SW Funk Collective (or Solar Funky Music - not sure what you’re actually called as your website has a different band name to LMM!) at our wedding. Not only did they do all the simple stuff perfectly (i.e. turning up on time and setting up efficiently with minimal invasion) but their performance was also fantastic. A truly cohesive group of talented musicians who not only do the Motown and funk classics of the 70s proud, but also curated a set list based on our preferences and learnt a song not normally in their repertoire because it mean’t something to us. Their performance was energetic and tight, and no effort was spared (including bringing and playing a slide whistle for just one song). I have already recommended them to several friends for their upcoming weddings. "

"You know how you read some reviews and you think it must have been one of the band or a member of the family? Beleive me this isn't one of them. Nicola and the boys were absolutely perfect. Everyone and I mean everyone had the best time. Such an intimate experience with a fabulous band. Our wedding was like an interactive later with Jools Holland gig. We couldn't be happier with the quality of music, atttitude and overall professionalism of Nicola and the boys. Would we have them again at another event? We wouldn't consider anyone else. There are so many "wedding bands" with standard generic chart music out there. If you want a charismatic performance with timeless music perfectly played don't waste your time looking anywhere else. We couldn't get our guests off of the bloody dance floor and there was also a much loved encore!! Nicola we can't thank you and the boys enough. You made our day spectacular. ".....a truly memorable performance at our wedding. We absolutely loved the ceremony music.....The Queen of Sheba was most fitting for the entrance and my mother noticed and loved all her requests. Thank you so much Cherry Trio for being able to translate exactly the atmosphere I was trying to create into reality, and for being such professionals. You hit the nail on the head with all of it - the music was a highlight."
