"These amazing musicians played at our wedding in 2016. The variety of their repertoire was brilliant, it was easy to contact them and organise everything with them for the day and overall a very professional group. I couldn’t recommend them any more highly! "

I eagerly await her events, because they are not just run of the mill open-mic nights or seedy pub gigs; they are proper shows with atmosphere, zing and something special - whether they are on a theatre stage or in her kitchen! Where most people just play songs, Meg brings life to them and to your night. She is the artist you need when you want someone who stands out above the rest."

"Put simply, Ellen was incredible and we would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to hire a guitarist. We had to hire Ellen fairly last minute due to our original guitarist being injured, but as soon as we got into contact we knew we were in safe hands. Ellen was quick to respond, incredibly accommodating (learning two song requests with less than two weeks notice!) and made the whole day seamless. She listened to our preferences and made sure the set list was perfect for us on our wedding day. All of our guests commented on what an incredible performer Ellen was and she really did make the day special. Even the DJ we hired for the evening commented on what an incredible performer Ellen was, and he was particularly impressed with her rendition of Creep by Radiohead. It’s fair to say we were blown away with Ellen as were our guests. We cannot recommend Ellen enough!!"

"Fantastic piper and pleasure to work with. Robin is a talented and experienced piper. He is a consummate professional and ensures you get the best music whatever the occasion. His knowledge of tradition, familiarity with many events and wonderful ‘can do attitude’ will ensure your event is perfectly piped. Weddings, Burns Nights and whatever else you want accompanied by the skirl are all perfectly piped. He is brilliant from start to finish."

"Unbelievable talented man he didn't disappoint, we had so much fun everyone was up dancing straight away , he was very versatile suited most people's tastes and travelled a fair distance to get here at no extra cost, we had the time of our lives and we thoroughly recommend him to anyone. "Taylor was amazing at our BBQ this weekend! From the very first song he had people up dancing and kept the party vibe going. He knew exactly what to play for the crowd and was so friendly, a few guests even asked if he was a friend of ours because he fitted in so well. Honestly, he made the day such a success, we can’t recommend him enough!"

"We first met Chris when he played for us at our pandemic wedding in June. We found an advertisement for Chris online and knew from the first phone call that we wanted him to be a part of our big day. Chris Tavener was professional, courteous and well organised. He was happy to comply with venue rules and regulations and nothing was too much trouble for him. As an events organiser, I have worked with many different suppliers and the good ones can be hard to find! Chris Tavener is a rare find because he is brilliant! His customer service was second to none. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely use him again at future events. Chris was always super quick to respond and problem solve. If we had any issues in advance of the wedding and on the day itself he was quick to sort them and relieve us of that headache. He puts himself into your shoes and does his utmost to make the day as special as he can for you. Although we booked Chris last minute because we weren’t sure if the wedding would go ahead due to covid, we needn’t have worried. A tour request, Chris took on the role as toast master and coordinated everything perfectly on the day. He liaised with bar staff to announce our arrival and get things ready and he announced our speeches at the reception. When organising a wedding, you need the best people in your team to make the day (and the run up!!) as stress free as possible. When it comes to entertainment - Chris is that person.  We were delighted that he played for us. He read the audience well and played a great selection of songs to cater for all age groups. He created a fantastic atmosphere and even played a little longer into the night when he knew our guests didn’t want him to go home! We can’t thank Chris enough for how special he made our big day! Thank You!"
