"'Lindsay, we just want to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding. It was a truly magical day and we had such wonderful feedback about your 'live acoustic session' from family and friends. Everyone thought you were brilliant and a superb singer/entertainer! I only wish I had heard more of you instead of dashing about having photos taken. You fitted in so well to our rustic farm wedding venue and set the scene so well for the rest of the day. Thanks again!"

"Paul was fantastic! All my family and friends were asking for his details as they were so impressed. He had a lovely presence - not too overpowering for the occasion, whilst thoroughly enjoyable. He has a really lovely voice, and plays beautifully. Great communication ahead of the event, reliable for arrival, setup and timings, and even agreed to add an extra set at the end of the event as we were enjoying him so much!! Thank you Paul, I have a feeling we'll be getting you back!"

"Ritchie delivered a 10/10 performance at a small family birthday party. It was a last minute booking and Ritchie responded almost immediately to my request. Throughout the booking process he was very responsive and organising the logistics was straightforward. We agreed on 2 hours of playing and Ritchie played for 2.5 hours accepting requests and trying to satisfy all family members. His playing was fantastic. He had a broad range of songs and his warmth interacting with the family almost made it feel like he was one of us. He invited one younger member of the family to play with him and made the afternoon very special for all. I would highly recommend Ritchie."

"Lianna is a lovely young woman with a beautiful clear voice. She sang the type of songs we had requested and the sound quality in our marquee was perfect as it was in our garden with neighbours nearby. Lianna had our guests singing along and soon up on the dance floor. There was quite an age range in our guests but everyone (without exception) enjoyed Lianna's singing and many commented on how good she was. Lianna set up and cleared away with no disruption to the party at all. We would definitely choose Lianna again and highly recommend. Thank you for a fantastic performance on Saturday. Pat & I and all our guests enjoyed it. We have already had 3 enquiries regarding possible bookings later in the year. Hope they happen as we would enjoy hearing you again."

"Me and my Wife Libby booked Sean to sing at our wedding. On the day of the wedding, everyone was blown away with how awesome he was, he sang a wide variety of songs and was a massive hit with everyone, he made our day more awesome than it already was, we would highly recommend him to anyone. "Mark did the live music and dj'ing at my 50th birthday on Saturday and I'm so glad I came across him and he was free! Having live music really made the evening more special and the style of music Mark plays was ideal for us. He'd also asked for ideas for the Dj part and came with the playlists prepared which was fantastic. People danced all night and the feedback has been brilliant! Thanks Mark."

"Emily was an absolute star on the sax, we hired Emily for an afternoon tea wedding reception and room change, it was incredible, would highly recommend. Emily also jumped in the photo booth which was great for the memory book. 5 stars!! "

"The moment when Warwickshire Strings began to play our favourite song before I walked down the aisle was absolutely spine-tingling. So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful touch it was to have a string quartet at the wedding, and I couldn’t recommend this one more highly. They have a wonderfully eclectic repertoire, so there was really something for everyone to enjoy - and Rachel was incredibly helpful in advising us before the big day about what sort of music would be suitable at various points during the event. Their presence throughout the afternoon of our wedding added a truly magical touch to the occasion. "

"We really enjoyed having H&R acoustics at our event. They were really patient and flexible with the last minute changes we had to make because of the weather. "I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"
