Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"I have over the years booked many artists for events, when I booked the Joe Loss warm up band for one event, I never thought any one would surpass their performance until last Thursday, 15th December 2022. But Sandy Smith topped it, she was outstanding and her wonderful personality, her wide range of songs, her interaction with our members made our Annual Christmas Dinner one to remember. In view of her professional background I did not think that she would travel over 140 miles to our event, which on the scale of events was very small but she was so warm and accommodating she left us all spellbound. My problem will be booking anybody as good. Sandy you deserve the success you have made for yourself, our sincere best wishes for the future. "I recently booked Jon to play a set for my wife’s birthday in our garden after about 10 seconds of hearing him cover a song by Adele which blew me away. He was absolutely fantastic and his vocals were incredible, he absolutely smashed it whilst also putting on a great show, engaging with the crowd and also giving us a few laughs in between songs. I would not hesitate to book him again for future events. Highly recommended!"

Des was always professional, reliable, entertaining (on and off stage), empathetic to the atmosphere at the venue and adaptable to the challenges of outdoor performance. His talent is unquestionable and his songs, chat and outfits made him a popular performer with audiences and staff. "We hired Redline Avenue Band at short notice for our wedding in the Hertfordshire countryside in September 2018. They put on nothing short of an absolutely fabulous performance in our festival tipi! They are wonderful musicians and singers, had a great set list to choose from and were extremely professional and accommodating with our last minute changes. During their interval they even offered to learn to play a new song so that our nieces could sing it to us as a surprise. The bands manager is very professional and we had great communication from start to finish. We had countless compliments on the band and can honestly say we have never been to a wedding before (and we've been to a lot) where the dance floor remained packed throughout the entire performance. Thanks for helping to make our big day so special! We highly recommend them for any event you may have planned."

"Kirsty was fantastic, we have a great chat in the lead up to discuss all the wishes and wants from our music choices and she absolutely smashed it! She went over and beyond always getting our guests dancing and never letting it die down, and even pre-warned us when we are close to the end so we could really get into those last few songs. Could not recommend her more highly, she made our evening absolutely perfect. "

"I recently had the pleasure of hiring Rob, accompanied by a robotic skeleton drummer, to play at my party, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Rob's raw and soulful voice, combined with his expert guitar skills, had the audience captivated from the first note. The robotic skeleton drummer added a unique and futuristic touch to the performance, with its precise and rhythmic beats. Throughout the night, Rob and his robotic companion played a mix of classic blues and rock tunes and original compositions and I could tell that everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves. What impressed me most about the performance was the synergy between the guitarist and the robotic drummer. They played seamlessly together, with each element complementing the other perfectly. It was a truly unique and innovative experience that I won't forget anytime soon. Overall, I would highly recommend this blues guitarist and singer, along with his robotic skeleton drummer, for anyone looking to add a touch of futuristic flair to their event while still keeping the classic blues sound alive."
