"I had a Brazil/carnival themed 30th Birthday and Travessia were the highlight of the party! Both sets matched the vibe perfectly and all the guests were so complimentary! They were so kind, accommodating & professional and really helped make my party a huge success! I would 100% recommend hiring Travessia to play at any event and want to say another big thank you to them for helping make my birthday so special with music that honours my roots and played so beautifully!"

"I booked a saxophonist for my husbands 40th for 20 people. Rory was very friendly and talented. He played really well and the music was great and perfect for the occasion. Everyone enjoyed the music including the neighbours!   Also great service and easy to book.  Thank you Rory."

"You were simply extraordinarily kind, helpful and generous with your time and offerings. Rory. Your flexibility to adapt to the occasion and effort to provide the music requested for before and after the live singing, was amazing and much appreciated. Your partnership with Harry was brilliant and his cajon just gave that important Latin American flavour to the event. Sereta's singing was wonderful too. Thank you, Thank you. THANK YOU! "Rory, you, Harry and Sereta were simply wonderful. Not only did you follow thoughtfully what I had requested in the type of music and Latin American ambience for my 70th birthday lunch with 70 people, but also took the trouble beforehand to find some specific music (i.e., the Chabuca Granda songs) and incorporate them into the repertoire. In addition, prior to the event, you kindly replied to all my e-mails and gave me some amazing suggestions including the willingness to incorporate some DJ music during the welcome cocktails and prior to the main music section after lunch. These little things make such a difference and show what a lovely and caring man you are, Rory, as well as being very professional. Please thank Harry and Sereta from me.  I was sorry that with all the chaos of the day, I may not have thanked them enough. "Ines and her band were such a special part of our wedding day, and we were so impressed by their professionalism and commitment to making the music absolutely spot on. They set a lively and atmospheric mood with their set list of Bossa Nova and Jazz, and later in the evening played their take on some of our requested tunes including Jewish celebration music and other more contemporary songs. Caravela’s musicianship is some of the best on the scene and we were so thrilled that they were a part of our wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and hope to be able to book them again for our next party!"
