"So I’m a little behind in thanking everyone for the most perfect day... especially these amazing humans! Going back 2 years ago when I first saw them; my maid of honour and myself couldn’t stop dancing ! To the day of the wedding when they play “here comes the Diversion” to walk/dance down the aisle too! Everybody at the wedding absolutely loved them! And said how incredibly talented and amazing they were! Plus they are both so charming and really get involved in the party! I even got upset when they said it was time for them to go! Absolutely incredible & amazing guys! And I couldn’t highly recommend you enough! You made our wedding day!!! So thank you!!!"

"From the moment we met Francis of Band One Steel Band we knew we had to have the band a part of a wedding! I can say that the band were amazing! They played during our cocktail hour and really brought the energy to the day! They made the occasion memorable! Our family and friends loved them and we loved them! They have great range of songs and they also can performance new pieces of music that you may request. Please do not hesitate to book this wonderful band to be a party of your special occasion! Thank you Steel Band One for everything! I would highly recommend them!!"

"Rory and his colleagues played at my husband’s 40th birthday party. This was held on a summer evening at home for around 60 people. Having live music totally transformed the night. Rory's band created a really unique atmosphere. The music was relaxed and subtle, which meant that the conversation could flow, but so enjoyable to listen to that you didn't want it to end. I would love to have the opportunity to hear him play again and I would not hesitate to engage him for another occasion."

"I heard Tijuca Taxi playing an impromptu set at the Long Table and I was blown away with his performance. Extremely talented on many instruments, he got everybody dancing and a really fun guy. I'd recommend him to get the party started with the talent!"

"We absolutely loved Mary’s performance at our wedding! It made our day even more special. Mary and her band were amazing and her attention to detail was incredible. They managed learn all the songs we requested in record time and play them exactly like we asked for. To top that Mary was quick-thinking and proactive when it came to unforeseen conditions such as last minute location changes."

"I saw them when we arrived back to the church, music sounded great and the pair looked professional and happy to be there. In terms of their performance everyone enjoyed it! There were no problems, overall we would definitely book the band again if we were lucky enough to have a large event in the future. Thanks so much for all your help and please do pass on my thanks appreciation to the band. It was great to have them at our wedding!"

"Edina played two sessions at our private party. Edina was east to communicate with and replied very quickly to any concerns. Edina played the most wonderful selection of music including my father-in-law’s favourite Cavatina. Everyone was very complimentary about Edina and her music."

"You were simply extraordinarily kind, helpful and generous with your time and offerings. Rory. Your flexibility to adapt to the occasion and effort to provide the music requested for before and after the live singing, was amazing and much appreciated. Your partnership with Harry was brilliant and his cajon just gave that important Latin American flavour to the event. Sereta's singing was wonderful too. Thank you, Thank you. THANK YOU! "Rory, you, Harry and Sereta were simply wonderful. Not only did you follow thoughtfully what I had requested in the type of music and Latin American ambience for my 70th birthday lunch with 70 people, but also took the trouble beforehand to find some specific music (i.e., the Chabuca Granda songs) and incorporate them into the repertoire. In addition, prior to the event, you kindly replied to all my e-mails and gave me some amazing suggestions including the willingness to incorporate some DJ music during the welcome cocktails and prior to the main music section after lunch. These little things make such a difference and show what a lovely and caring man you are, Rory, as well as being very professional. Please thank Harry and Sereta from me.  I was sorry that with all the chaos of the day, I may not have thanked them enough.
