I’m so pleased that the DJ set hit the mark and that everyone ended the night on such a high note! Also really glad the addition of a full PA gave the event the punch it needed. It was such a high to see 600 people on the dance floor during the DJ portion of the evening! I’d be happy to speak with the agency about better distinguishing our Brazilian and Latin offerings on their site too, to help guide future bookings more accurately. I want to say again how much I appreciate the opportunity to contribute towards such a special evening. "Tijuca Taxi was so easy to work with - a great professional. He even helped us out with last minute requests such as lending us extra microphones for speeches and bringing a music stand for our celebrant. As soon as he started playing the room came alive - from saxophone to piano he added a special, sophisticated, musical magic to the evening. You can't beat live music and Tijuca Taxi is a very talented musician. Thanks again Rory! It was a pleasure to have you perform."

"Rory did very well and we were delighted with his performance. He played some great Disney song covers on his sax that were huge crowd pleasures and unexpected. He also added some lively backing music and ramped up towards the end of his set which we had asked for and he delivered. He was very pleasant and respectful, blended in to the background but was always nearby and could be heard, he moved around to suit the movements of the guests around the garden which was great. He definitely lifted the atmosphere and got people in more of a relaxed celebration mode! He did an excellent job for us. Thank you also for sorting everything out and organising the transport etc - much appreciated, great service and will recommend."

"Rory hit the mark perfectly with his choice of music for our garden marquee wedding reception. Many people came up to us and said how much they had enjoyed listening to him and that he was the perfect link between the speeches and leading into the BBQ. Rory is a very talented musician and he wowed us with his sax and flute playing. We even had two professed ‘non-lovers’ of saxophone totally converted to his style and choice of music! The younger ones amongst the guests also made a point of coming up and saying how good he was and that they really enjoyed listening to him. So thank you once again to Rory, a lovely guy who really made our wedding reception special – a fabulous find."

"If you're looking for a band that keeps your guests entertained and on the dance floor, I highly recommend Grupo Carnival. They played a mix of funk, soul and Latin-inspired tunes that had everyone dancing all night. Their incorporation of Brazilian music was a nice touch which added an extra layer of fun and was original. The band know how to create a fun and vibey atmosphere and they were a pleasure to work with. Overall, I would definitely recommend Grupo Carnival for anyone in search of a wedding band that can deliver great music and a fun night. They made our special day a memorable one. "

"I saw them when we arrived back to the church, music sounded great and the pair looked professional and happy to be there. In terms of their performance everyone enjoyed it! There were no problems, overall we would definitely book the band again if we were lucky enough to have a large event in the future.
