"Chris was absolutely professional and incredibly easy to work with. Chris' beautiful playing set a lovely atmosphere for the occasion and he was able to put together a wonderful repertoire perfectly suited to the evening with very little guidance. Performances at regimental dinner nights can be quite heavily criticised if not done just right but there were only positive comments on this occasion Thank you Chris! Would definitely recommend this very talented pianist."

"Nigel is a delightful character to work with. He has a very easy manner and a broad repertoire - and he is very eager to fit in with the overall vibe of your event, whether it be interrogating you on the mood of music you want, the colour schemes of your wardrobe, the flowers, the amount of time it will take for you to walk up the aisle... Our wedding was at Horwood House and he knows the venue inside and out, so was very helpful in making sure everything was set up perfectly. His planning is meticulous and entirely focused on making it YOUR event. In our case, we had an additional quirk as we wanted some friends to play for us and Nigel took it upon himself to liaise with them directly to create probably the most stunning moment of the whole day. People were actually watching the musicians instead of the wedding procession."

"We had the pleasure of meeting and enjoying the incredible talent of this outstanding entertainer during our 16-day cruise in 2025 aboard the Coral Princess. Every evening after the main Princess show, we made it a point to go to the piano bar to see him perform. It quickly became the highlight of our nights on board. His talent, energy, and ability to connect with the audience are truly exceptional. What impressed us the most was his extraordinary musical repertoire. During the entire duration of the cruise, he never once repeated the same song. In all our years of cruising — more than 25 cruises — we had never experienced anything like it. His performances were always fresh, engaging, and filled with enthusiasm, humor, and remarkable musical skill. Beyond his talent as a pianist and singer, he has a natural gift for entertaining people and creating a lively, joyful atmosphere where everyone feels involved and part of the show. We were truly saddened to learn that he will no longer be performing on cruise ships. In fact, we would have gladly booked another cruise — regardless of the destination — just to experience his performances again. However, while this may be a loss for cruise audiences, it will certainly be a great gain for the venues and audiences fortunate enough to welcome him. "We booked Nigel to play at our drinks reception and wedding breakfast at Swancar Farm. From the moment we made the booking Nigel was very helpful; helping us choose songs that would best suit our wedding, answering our questions and ensuring we had everything we need in advance of the day. Our guests loved his songs and he tailored them to what people were enjoying throughout the day. He even played some Dean Martin for my elderly grandad which made his day! "Alan arrived in plenty of time to set up at our Christmas Party. He had a wide repertoire, including a list of Christmas Carols that I asked him to play, for guests to sing. He also helped to get everyone singing! Very friendly and a great pianist. Peter "

"We first heard Nigel playing his music at the Mk wedding fair and were instantly drawn to his music . Due to covid our wedding was postponed, but Nigel learnt and played a special favourite of ours on the original day! This music had special meaning to us and we appreciated the time Nigel took to learn this tune which was out side his original repertoire . On the day of our wedding at Eversholt Hall Nigel’s performance was absolutely fantastic, from reception, to walking down the aisle and the wedding breakfast, it was all perfect. The whole process was thoroughly professional and we would recommend Nigel Hammond to anyone planning their wedding, 10 out of 10 ! "
