"The band was excellent from start to finish. Excellent prompt communication, and helpful advice regarding the venue and how best to utilise the space. Finally they were not only a great band but they brought the dancing to life with their calling and help with the dances."

"Well, what can we say about Garage Nation... They were amazing! A band really makes an occasion and they definitely made ours. Everyone commented on how good they were and even though it was hot they managed to keep everyone dancing until the very end! Their choice in what to play was spot on and engaged with everyone. A pleasure to work with and dealing with them was so easy and seamless. We have to find another reason to book them again!! Thank you so much for such a great night. "

Nigel Nash sat there for most of the time and was very proudly telling everyone that he used to teach you! Before we reached the garden, we were stopped by some people in the High Street who had just come from the OCG and thought that the music was wonderful. "We chose the band after going along to one of their gigs and really enjoying the music. As it was our party I didn’t give too much thought as to how well it would suit our guests as quite a few may have expected to hear something more modern. It was therefore really good to hear the enthusiastic calls for an encore and all the really positive feedback we received afterwards. Thanks to all the band for a brilliant performance."

"I first stumbled across Dave one afternoon while walking through Dean Village in Edinburgh. I heard music drifting from under the Dean Bridge and was instantly drawn to it. There he was, playing and singing with such warmth and soul that I stood in awe for quite some time. I took his card that day, never knowing how beautifully our paths would cross again. When my now-husband proposed and we began planning our wedding in Loch Lomond, we knew we wanted Dave to be part of it. He played during our champagne reception, joined by a saxophonist, and created the most magical atmosphere. His infectious smile and genuine warmth shone through his music, captivating not only us but all of our guests. Everyone loved him as much as we did! We’ll treasure those memories forever and know we’ll be inviting him again for future celebrations. Thank you, Dave, for sharing your incredible gift with us."

"The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard to the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regard to what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing. "
