"I booked Rory as a surprise for my partners 50th birthday party through [agency] in our local pub. He loves a sax player so I knew he would love it! We spoke before the event and made arrangements for Rory to arrive at the venue. There was a train strike so Rory kindly arrived extra earlier so not to be late. Rory played a set for 2 hours which was amazing a mix of different tunes. Everyone loved him including my partner who almost had a solo sax player playing to him!!! He is super talented and joined in with the guests who enjoyed his performance and have not stopped talking about it since! I would highly recommend Rory and thank him for making our event extra special!"

"Rory was great at our wedding. First, they were super-flexible, fitting in with our somewhat fluid plan for the day! But most importantly, all our guests loved the accompaniment they provided to our special afternoon at Holdsworth House. "Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"

Our feedback is hugely positive - Rory arrived in plenty of time and liaised with us about the best place to get set up.
