"A fantastic Evening, the most accomplished Musical Duo ,especially with the variety of their performance we have seen for many years. Their connection with the audience made for an extraordinary and enjoyable evening. The mixture of styles and the variety of instruments they played was a joy and an eye opener that , and the level of ability with all the instruments they played was Phenomenal. We would love to see them again in due course at one of one Social events. Many Many Thanks."

"This summer, Tijuca Taxi enchanted the audience with his fusion of acoustic Latin with Brazilian music, jazz and soul and the arrangements were tastefully orchestrated with guitar and percussion. It made for an engaging performance. We hope to have him back again soon!"

"After a decade or so in London, he has lost none of his native musical ability on accordion or as a bel canto tenor. The duo's irreverence, including introducing Harrison's virtuoso violin flourishes as if playing at the Queen Vic, and sundry comic turns, help give their musical sketches a real sense of pace. Yet for all their larking around, when the music demands gravitas and expression, it's there in spades."

"Tijuca Taxi entertained at my 50th birthday in our large garden. He brought all his equipment and was ready to start straight away. He was a multi-instrumentalist, and I couldn’t believe it when he got out both saxophone and flute. He played beautiful music with a professional, original backing track, I noted, and it was wonderful to have that live element. He also changed costumes half way through which we were quite surprised and amused at; I thought that this really added to the high standard of his professionalism and the variety of what he offered. He was very easy to talk to and I would definitely book him again. Even the neighbours next door asked if the music was live as it sounded so special and they wanted to come and listen."

"If you're looking for a band that keeps your guests entertained and on the dance floor, I highly recommend Grupo Carnival. They played a mix of funk, soul and Latin-inspired tunes that had everyone dancing all night. Their incorporation of Brazilian music was a nice touch which added an extra layer of fun and was original. The band know how to create a fun and vibey atmosphere and they were a pleasure to work with. Overall, I would definitely recommend Grupo Carnival for anyone in search of a wedding band that can deliver great music and a fun night. They made our special day a memorable one. "

"I would like to say thanks to Rory for being with us on our wonderful day. With so many other things to worry about on the day it was reassuring to know that my guests were being looked after when they arrived by the sweet jazz music of Rory. I had several comments saying it was a nice surprise to be greeted by Rory when they arrived. Rory and the team was also very accommodating to myself and my wife as we were running a little late on the day and he stayed behind for a extra hour to make sure that we had a nice arrival when we stepped out of the car. "I saw the band when we arrived back to the church, music sounded great and the duo looked professional and happy to be there. Everyone enjoyed their performance and we would definitely book the band again if we were lucky enough to have a large event in future. "My wife and I had The VIP Formula as the band for our wedding! They were brilliant in every way, equal parts professional and super relaxed. They arrived on time, set up quickly and were a complete success! The crowd loved them and their brilliant musicality, the level of audience participation was just perfect and they looked especially dashing in their suits. I would book them again in an instant and recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great event!"
