Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"I honestly don’t know where to start with this absolute legend, so I’ll start at the beginning! We met Paul at an open evening of our wedding venue - an instantly likeable chap who captured our imagination of what we could have with his wonderful saxophone playing. So we booked Paul and very shortly after had a zoom chat with him to begin planning our big day. He was always at hand during the wedding planning process and was always cool and calm, while others were losing their heads! For our wedding, Paul firstly played and sang a set of beautiful saxophone and vocals during our drinks reception. His talents were commented on by literally every guest with many saying that they felt guilty for not giving him more attention - our guests felt that a musician so talented should be fully appreciated!! And then the evening…… We didn’t really know what to expect but it is fair to say that all of our guests - from 12 years old to 80 years old were blown away by Paul. Vocals, sax and DJing through the night, Paul had our guests dancing, singing and lapping up every minute. So many of our guests were asking ‘where did you find this guy?!’ that we were rolling out a stock answer by the end of the night. I can’t remember seeing a dance floor packed and just living the moment like that before and feel privileged that this happened at our wedding. Our wedding was the most perfect day and Paul was a massive part of that. I can’t recommend him highly enough and would not think twice about booking him for a wedding, a corporate event or even just an evening of great music. Paul, you absolutely rocked and we are so grateful to you for making our special day what it was. Book him while you can!"

"Mark made my daughter's wedding such a special day. We went for a wedding in the garden and Mark's music made it feel like a stylish classy wedding venue but then hit the Ibiza vibes later on to set the mood for a night of revelling. He accommodated the England game and worked round it seamlessly , cueing up the "3 Lions" anthem as the last penalty went in , perfect timing!! Thank you so very much "

"Where do we begin! From our initial enquiry all the way through to our wedding day, Nigel has been so patient and supportive throughout. We requested a song which wasn’t on his repertoire and he happily learnt the song for us with a fairly short notice! Nothing was too much for him and we are grateful for his patience on all our questions and worries prior to our wedding day. He played so beautifully for our ceremony and drinks reception and our guests loved him! We had so many good feedback from how beautifully he played and particularly enjoyed the current pop songs played on the piano. Thank you so much Nigel for our beautiful music whilst we got married!"

"Really entertaining guy. Amazing range of songs, covering all ages. Asked us to let us know a few of our favourites prior, he learnt them, then delivered not only vocally but with his guitar, rather than a backing track. Great live singer. You will not be disappointed. "

"I think it says it all as I say a huge THANK YOU to you for making saturday evening a great success X My sister-in-law had helped me by looking for a musician online, which would be ideal for my husband's surprise 50th celebrations in December and finding Joey did not disappoint. He was so much more than a guy with a guitar :) The choice of songs for our chosen sets was perfect for my husband and his music taste and Joey was fabulous at not only performing on the night, but his organization of the whole evening with me beforehand, was second to none. Joey went above and beyond to accommodate everything I wanted, from playing the playlist I had created and allowing my daughter to sing a song to her father with a backing track. Many of our guests asked where I had found him as they thought he was a fantastic young man :) I would highly recommend Joey for a successful evening of music. "What a character and a lovely man! Had the privilege of meeting spud at a friends wedding and can’t recommend him enough. As soon as that first note came out I had chills down my spine. He gets the balance spot on between professionalism and banter and it’s obvious how much he enjoys what he does. Ya ma wee pal"

"Thanks so much for your services at my dad’s funeral - we were all blown away by your beautiful expert singing, professionalism and compassion portrayed to all of us as a family. It made a world of difference to the service and the songs in the crematorium portrayed exactly how we had imagined - dad as a person would have been well impressed and I’m certain he would have been looking down on us. The way you sang ‘How do I say Goodbye’ was absolutely stunning and mum was well impressed as she was the one that chose that specifically. "

It was great to see people of all ages on the dance floor.......some even that probably hadn't danced for decades!! Everyone commented to us how much they enjoyed your set which I'm sure you sensed with everyone shouting for more! "I recently booked Amanda Jayne to sing at my husbands surprise 60th birthday party 🥳 She was excellent and I would highly recommend her….. Amanda is brilliant at reading the room to keep the party going, creating a great atmosphere with her song choices 👍 A lovely lady, a great entertainer with an amazing voice to boot! Even the guests commented on how brilliant she was. Some even left with her details 😁 She provides all her own equipment, even lighting and a set list of filler music in between sets. Communication in the run up and the booking process was thorough, asking questions about music required and age range of guests. All in all, an amazing evening! Thank you Amanda 😘 If you’re looking for a singer for your event, book this lady!! You won’t regret it…. xx"
