"I have known Nick for many many years, we use him a lot for various events we hold here, he does a lot of our Christmas events and summer events here, whether he is doing the regular set or his reggae set for the outdoor summer events, he never fails to impress, a very amiable man and always delivers what he says he will. No problem with the 10/10 rating, a pleasure."

"Stevie's contribution to my daughter's wedding at Doxford Hall on 29 April 2023 was substantial. He greeted the guests, piped us up the aisle and piped her and her new husband from the Ceremony Room. He then announced them into the Wedding Breakfast. He's a thoroughly good chap and clearly loves his art. Amazing talent, awesome impact, simply brilliant."

"From start to finish the booking process was smooth; after booking Eleanor she made contact promptly and was very informative to what happens on the day which eased wedding plans. When Eleanor arrived she made herself known (well the harp did!! its massive), she played beautifully and every request was met with enthusiasm! Eleanor was a delight to have at our wedding! Despite the rain she managed to move her harp across to another part of our venue which amazed us! Eleanor is versatile, professional and such a great harpist who made our wedding ceremony complete. Thank you so much, cannot recommend enough."

"The Band was superb in guiding us through the preparation for its gig - our wedding reception no less - not least of all in its patience with our frequent delays in getting back with requested information! We asked for a "Dublin/ Temple Bar" feel to the gig and that is what we got in spades. We have no doubt that the Band would have presented other music styles equally as well. Our 80 plus guests loved the performance, as did the 10 or so staff at the reception venue. The manager of our local folk club booked the Band - taking its details that very same night - for a club performance at date to be arranged. The Band's fee for the evening was very competitive for the performance and the help we were given in its preparation. The Band arrived in good time, set up quickly and demobilised swiftly and tidily. Please feel free to contact us via the booking agent - who was also superb - if you might wish to verify this volunteered reference. "

"I booked Otis to perform at my daughter’s 18th birthday. From start to finish he was a pleasure to deal with and always very friendly, accommodating and professional. He took time to find out what kind of music we wanted played on the night. He worked very closely with the venue and myself to decide how best the sound system would work for the night. We chatted through how we wanted the music broken down for the evening. He worked with us and made sure we had a huge say in all the decisions. When the day arrived he turned up in plenty of time on the night and was ready to go at the agreed time. All our guests loved his music, style and he brought the whole atmosphere together on the night. We enjoyed Otis’ company at the end of the night when he sat and chatted with us while enjoying a drink. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Otis for your occasion. The beauty with how he plays the Saxophone brings a great atmosphere and energy to your event. Many thanks Otis Laura"

"From the planning stage through to the big day itself, Glow Band were an amazing part of our wedding celebration. They made it easy and effortless to plan what we wanted and we knew we were in safe, talented hands. As a slightly anxious wedding planner myself, I was calmed by knowing I could rely on them to deliver exactly what we dreamed of. On the day, we experienced some unexpected minor delays in the running of the day - Glow Band adapted instantly to these delays and timing changes and went with the flow. They were ready to start as soon as we needed, always happy to adjust timings where we asked. Having Glow Band perform a unique version of our aisle song was one of the highlights of our wedding day. The connection between Michelle and James meant that they knew how to seamlessly extend and adapt the song under pressure to allow me more time to prepare myself to walk in the bridal procession. Our wedding day then featured an acoustic set as well as an electric set to get the party started in the evening. Every guest enjoyed this part especially as we were all up, singing and dancing to the classic hits. Michelle’s presence and energy on stage is incredible and James’ guitar solos were an exceptional treat for us all. You can instantly tell these two are in their element as soon as you see them on stage together. They were even happy to let my saxophonist bridesmaid join them up on stage to perform together for a few numbers - their flexibility and openness with this meant a lot to me. Overall, we were thrilled to have Glow Band at our wedding: they truly livened up our intimate celebration and brought everyone together! "John provided the perfect Italian black tie event for my wedding at Nolitas Ristorante in Hertfordshire. We booked the Rat Pack show and were entertained with songs from Sinatra to Dean Martin; and Sammy Davis Jnr to Tony Bennett. I would definitely attend one of his shows in the future."

"Kirsty was a breath of fresh air from her review page. We were looking for an informal and flexible DJ that would play ‘our tunes’, and Kirsty put us straight at ease with “one persons’s cheese is another person’s gold” – and really got to know our music tastes. She was incredibly laid back, accepting random additions to our playlist thought (and was clear that was for a sample, not the entire playlist as she’d curate similar songs and link it all together). She turned up promptly, got herself set up with no fuss, and managed to keep the dancefloor full throughout the entire evening. I loved her choices, she worked magic. Wonderful DJ, would recommend.
