"Was lucky enough to shoot Fliss & Jonny's gorgeous wedding, that was made even better with you guys rocking it! The band were ace - no, you were SUPER! "For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "

"Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! "Thanks for everything on the night mate, you and the band absolutely smashed it! Everybody had an amazing time and there were a few sore throats/hangovers in the morning. It was a bit of shame it had to end so early, as I think everybody was quite up for kicking on quite late, but it was an amazing day for the both of us topped of with an amazing party in the evening. Thanks again for everything, and I will not hesitate to recommend you to anybody wanting a quality band at any functions, I’ll hopefully see you all again at one in the future!"

"I was really impressed by Fresh Grooves, they were very professional but put on a great show and were really charismatic. They got everyone involved and dancing and enjoying the evening. Hope they did too! We're still talking about it all here!"
